Season 67 (38)

be Bartje_vM >> Суббота Июль 2 - 14:48, Отредактирован Воскресенье Июль 3 - 13:28

1. FC Ulhasnagar

It is my prediction that Eckhart will win again this Indian championship. Other than previous seasons he didn't lose any points and his star keeper Chisulo Mwaruwari Mushangazhike (28,35) could only be passed 2 times. In season 62 Ulhasnagar managed to score 272 (!) times, last season the number of 220 was reached, which still is a lot.

The top club now hosts 12 Indian internationals and one of them will probably become the biggest club legend ever. Randolf Woodrum will than have played the most matches for Ulhasnagar of all players ever. Lastly: Nihaar Varati (20,75) and Jack Mayland (20,05) were sold for about 60 million euros each, which isn't that much according to their value.

Facilities: Stadium 11, Training: 14, Youth: 15

2. Goal Diggers

Art of Bar came in second last season. He was a bit on an island between Ulhasnagar and the third, Mohun Bagan. The club keeps relying on it's two star players: Khwaswaho Tabue (19,7) and Sit Got (19,1). Tabue is a 31-year old assist king (54 assists previous season). He never fell out of the three best assist players in the league since season 59. Sit Got is a 30-year old forward, making 89 goals in season 66. He was the league's topscorer 6 times in the last 7 seasons.

Goal Diggers sold keeper Paneru Vesawkar, his younger 34-year old guard Ketu Mallya now takes over as Digger's best lookout. Karan Saluja (22 years of age) was olso auctioned for about 20 million euros.

Facilities: Stadium 11, TA: 13, YA: 11

3. Mohun Bagan

Arko managed to put an all-Indian team together and finished 3rd last season after a good fight with Bengaluru FC. The team did not score as much goals as season 65. But with it's 7,5 million popularity it remains one of India's biggest clubs around.

Mohun Bagan sold their star keeper Aleksey Sadov (19) for 150 million euros and they dit receive slightly more goals against their side because of that. Not that their own Varun Dhurvasula (12,6) is bad at all and he is only getting better.

Bahan does count on their Indian internationals Utkarsh Kaushal (17,65) and former Ulhasnagar-striker Malcolm Veil (14,95). Kaushal is a certitude for about 30 assists per season. Veil is now 32 years old and was the league's topscorer in season 57-58. I won't be surprised if he scores about 40 this season.

Facilities: ST10, TA13, YA13

4. Bengaluru FC

Keju is an experienced managar and keeps the boat floathing over the seasons, always finishing 3rd or 4th. It was the last team that could managa to become the winners of our home league, when they beat Ulhasnagar in season 59. Did you know that Bengaluru was in fact accountable for 10 league titles in the first 11 seasons in India?

Not much transfer activity nowadays, but back in March Keju was very active strenghtening the squad. Rene Duchatelet (13,15), François Vivers (13,1), Jean Marie Rochefort (12,5), David de Beaumais (11,1), Zhong-shu Sha (12,41) and veteran Vicente Cifuentes (14,95) were bought in that period.

Cifuentes is a former Mohun Bagan player, but their goalgetter is the Chinese Sha, making an average of 50 goals each season. Keju puts a lot of trust in homegrown Yoginder Rebani too (35 goals each season), but compared to the real top clubs the attacking compartment could use reinforcements.

Facilities: ST11, TA12, YA11

5. Inazuma XI

Anant has a subscription on the 5th position and that is not a small result, looking at the quality of players and amount of player in the A-squad this side has. The club has a slow, but steady growth in results and a popularity of almost 3 million.

The club has a solid defensive line with keeper Aarre Sinkkonen (12,05) as reliable guard. It is his 4th season with Inazuma, last season he kept 0 against goals in about half of his matches.

The midfield is also very strong, but relying on only Krupal Dhawan is quite risky. The 33-year old forward (quality: 10,05) scored less goals last season and misses a real good striker in support. Previous season the club had Abas Bardhi (12,55) to do so, scoring 33 goals. So I think they might do some business in the last transfer days.

Facilities: ST9, TA10, YA10

6. FC Nagercoil

I expect Tamilian battling for position 5 this season, seen the slightly better facilities and some better top players. Their club popularity of almost 4,5 million speaks for itself. Their weakest point seems to be the young playmakers on the midfield.

Their goalkeeper is clublegend Edward Pownall (11,75), assisted by top notch defender Joss Carther (14,55). Kapeni Sobukwe (13,35) is in his perfect age and is a guarantee for about one goal each game. Eric Corneille (10->11,5) is his fellow striker, I expect his breaktrough this season.

The club did gain quite some money selling some players at the perfect age. Fun fact was that Harsha Mansoor, who did bad in season 65 with 2 goals in 20 games, became topscorer with bot squad FC Chishtian Mandi in the Pakistani 2nd division, making 82 goals in 32 encounters.

Facilities: ST10, TA11, YA11

7. Mariners

You can easily name Amal's Mariners the best of the smaller clubs. Mariners did very well last season, slightly poking FC Nagercoil. It would have been a real stunt if Mariners would exceed their previous result looking at their current squad.

Kalititi Odinga scored 24 times in 28 games for them, but he was loaned and has now left the building. Fun fact: in season 65 the same guy scored for concurrent Air FC. He was a bit younger and less productive there. Mariners' other loaned striker, Cyrille Amelotte (10,6->15,3) was and still is a huge talent. He scored 33 goals in 30 fixtures.

Amal did loan two other good guys: Benone Guzganu (+/-11) needs to deliver some assists and Oko Bassène (8,35) will have to find the way to goal often. But the quality of this striker is not that big. Combined with the quite average quality of the defensive line Amal might want to do some homework on the transfermarket. He has bought some younger talents to train, so he is planning in thoughts of long term investments.

Their keeper Karl Stadelman (8,45) now is 49 years of age. Curious how long he keeps going. He was the one who partly made the promotion to 1st possible in season 64 in division 2, having the most clean sheets behind his name.

Facilities: ST7, TA10, YA6

8. FC Faridabad #2

It is the 4th season that my small club will compete in the highest echelons in India after promotion in season 63. By the way: Mariners promoted in season 64, Nepal Police Club in season 65.

In season 65 we almost sacked back to 2nd division, so we had to loan players to keep the quality high enough. I learned that it is better to have fewer, but real quality players; than having a bit amount of above average footballers.

Henri Cardonell (14,25->16,25) was loaned and deliverd us 23 goals in 38 matches. Goalkeeper Daniel Gravely kept the goals against reduced to, well, not too much. It was his last season he was loaned out, he was sold for 30 million euros to a squad in Taiwanese 3rd division.

My new 3 loaned players are striker Nxele Masemola (9,3->15,3) with a talent of 7,65 (!). His starting quality is not like Cardonell, so he will receive some back-up by bought Heitor Lucena (9,2). Velio Florimo is my new goal guard and Ludvik Ballok (15,7) is my very strong defender for which I paid way to much loan money, but I got carried away :-)

Yes, I also bought defender Elias Vidaure (9,85) and playmaker Artur Shuyskiy (8,75) to replace some other players that now are staff members. I expect a new, easy season, certainly with Delhi in it. I don't see any humanly managed teams getting into real trouble.

Facilities: ST8, TA7, YA8

9. Air FC

Viktor had a more difficult season 66 than the one before, but is well intended. Improvement of facilities seems the main goal of the team.

Therefore a lot of smaller quality players were sold, but also a few talented but very young guys were bought. Maybe the selling of Doh-Keun Jong (7,25) is a small surprise, but it was the right age to be sold. On the other hand: he could be an extra asset in the quite average defensive wall. Luckily Koki Sunshi (9,05) is still there to reduce some damage.

Goalie Anup Sandip is still not very much of a top keeper, but now has become quite average (6,55). Since season 64 he has always been the most passed keeper of the league.

Air FC scored a lot less than previous season since the leaving of loaned striker Kalititi Odinga. This season Viktor prays for Luciano Iribarren to find best his best form, because 7 goals in 29 matches is not that good. Frank Spielmann is his wing man. The young lad is a little bit older and he could be an extra asset to do some damage.

The strong point of the squad is the young, but talented midfielders. Donald Criswell (7,05) is the best of them.

Facilities: ST9, TA10, YA10

10. Thundering Pune

Mr. Arpit's Thundering Pune has a popularity of more than 2 million and is in fact a 'small' sleeping giant. He woke up just into to save the side from relegating to 2nd division. But it was the team with the smallest amount of goals (15 in 33 games). Half of them were made by Adarsh Bhatiya (7,35). Elroy Lambrick (5,75->7,9) is also a guy to keep an eye on. Quite talented young striker who easily can do better than the few goals he made last season.

Their goalie is what kept the club in 1st division. His name is Ta-kai Chao (10,85). Not much of transfer activity going on neiter, but Mr. Arpit manged to do some smaller sales and received 10-15 million euros in doing so.

Facilities: ST10, TA10, YA8

11. FC Baahubali

Dwapar manged to snatch victory of the 2nd league way back in season 60. Weirdly, he always (except for season 64) ended up runner-down in the final score of our first division. But he also managed to save his side equal times.

The man has a mission to keep his squad always filled up with Indian players. Goalkeeper Essam Beddouk (6,45) starts his 11th season with Baahubali. The question is how long his status as 1st goalie will last, because dwapar has some nice younger keepers on the way.

Whereas the defense is not that great, there are some playmakers to look out for. Joginder Syamala (7,25) gave 17 assists in the 29 made goals, so he is very important for the team. Can he deliver some more? Also Jack Manjari is ready to step up.

In the front Tara Snehasis was sold. He marked 7 goals, but perhaps his egoïstic character got in the way. Firoz Srijata (7,15) has got to get the job of scoring done. We can expect a number between 10 and 20 goals from his foot. Also: look out in the waiting room for Buddha Vadivelu (5,65->7,35) as a promising striker.

Facilities: ST6, TA10, YA9

12. Nepal Police Club

Rabin relegated back to 2nd division after only being in 1st for one season. But the team has been a very prominent role in this 2nd league for seasons and I expect him to be back in 1st real soon. The budget must be quite good after selling a lot of B-players for a collective worth of 10 million euros.

The club had a lot of bad luck with injuries last seasons, but there were other things. Veasna Montana had a very bad season, only scoring 1 goal in 26 matches. Their best striker Riteish Sarath only scored 4 times. Weirdly, their weaker striker Zhu Man-ching did manage to score 9 goals in 26 matches.

Gavin Brushear (8,55) is the club's best player and the boss in the back area of the field. For now, the young Will Sellar (5,65) will remain their goalkeeper, but with the purchase of Nguy The Son (3,1->5,1) a possible replacement was bought in the long run.

In the midfield we have two young decent enough midfielders with Tullio Venturini (7,75). He can become assist king in 2nd division for a 4th time. He is now supported by Tepau Molia (6,1->8,05), a talented Palau playmaker who returns from being loaned out a few times.

Facilities: ST8, TA10, YA7

13. FC Delhi

This rather strong bot is becoming weaker and weaker. Weirdly enough, they got promoted again. Their keeper is average, they have one average defender and one average midfielder. Delhi has 18 players they can field and their main striker Ladislav Tomasek (4,85) is now 36 years old. In his prime days he did managed to score more than 70 goals in the 5 seasons that Delhi was in our league first. But I think he is almost done and dusted.

Great work Bartje...

Looking at the facilities, I think Mariners (Amal) and Baahubali (Dwapar) have some imbalance in their facilities...

Amal - YA is low compared to TA...Needs to get YA to atleast 8...

Dwapar - Stadium needs to be upgraded to atleast 8...

Rest seems okay to me...

Coming to my team, will play in AL Groups directly this season... Budget is long way off from what is required to upgrade Stadium... TA & YA takes out lot of money daily... Tried to sell some players but offer is too low from my liking...

Thank you for the analysis Bartje. it was difficult finding loans this season despite spending a lot of credits.Karl Stadelman is difficult to replace...I even had two bot teams reject  my market-offer for players they had no other bids on in the market. Now I can see if keepers without Endurance play poorly in the second half of the match. I don't know how he will play when Endurance  is down from 0.05.  Also I like the fun fact. It looks like I accept a lot of hand me downs/discarded players from other Indian teams.Even now I have A Nirav and M Tondre because of my low Youth Center Thank you Arko. I don't see the option to downgrade training center. I did not know you could demolish or downgrade before you get to football academy. My economy shows just a daily deficit or loss of 3-4 million rupees if I exclude stadium and transfer income & construction and transfer expenses but that might be because of new team bonus. I will be starting Stadium level 8 onstruction this Sunday because I think the attendance will be 100% on Sunday. Or should I upgrade Youth Center instead ?

Anup Sandip reads Bartje's articles. ;-) He had 14 saves today (https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/match-22428601)

On a more serious note, I concur with your assessment of my team and players. This match was just an outlier where the Match Engine was way too nice to us. My team might just as easily finish 11th this season but I am hoping being active helps.

My stadium level 8 construction just started. My starters bonus expires with this construction.

@ Arko and others, do you normally recommend keeping the stadium level  higher than other buildings and all other buildings at same level as each other?

These are my current facilities. I guess the Museum level does not matter so much. But I was thinking if my health center, office and stadium levels were a bit low as per you guys.

Fanshop    7
Catering    7
Stadium    7 +    pw P. Reihana 1.00
Training complex    10     in D. Palathingal 5.00t
Youth center    7
Health center    3
Museum    2
Office    5     pw U. Lomu 3.00
Scout's office    4

Right now I have two Construction Masters to help maximize the half-construction-time and double-stadium-income benefits from starters bonus .

When the starters bonus expires, I was thinking about removing one of the construction masters to move them to Training complex(since it is at level10) to buy in transfer market and help get my replacement keeper ready or to Catering to increase catering income( but that bonus is really small). What do you guys suggest?

Thank you

Thanks for the analysis Bartje!!

@Amal:

In my experience, as soon as you can, you should ALWAYS expand the stadium. Cash is everything in this game and the best steady flow is the stadium, fanshop and catering. after that, you can invest in the other facilities. With TA and YA 10, you should stop and use your money to expand the stadium to 200.000k. Maybe you can go YA11 but don't go further or you get problems with paying maintenance.

Agree with Eckhart... I have made the mistake of upgrading YA & TA beyond 11 before upgrading Stadium... But since I have paid a huge amount to those, I do not want to downgrade YA and/or TA...

For you Amal, your Health centre is too low, you need to upgrade it... Also you can upgrade Museum which costs less but gives some income... And most importantly, replace your Stadium staff...Buy 1-2 low rated 30-31 year old players and make them staff...You might get lucky with someone with 2 or 3 skill in Stadium...
