National Team (69)
Good morning, I've made a hard decision at the end, not to candidate for Ukraine.
My country, Hungary didn't had any candidates for the next period, and it would be not worth for letting someone to get it at the lottery.
I'm sure, that my best friend, István will also follow the long way to make a competitive national team.
This decision has no affect on my club team Prykarpattya, I will stay in the league, and will try to make the best, what is possible to get a better league ranking, and also to make some hard minutes for MFC Nikolaev and FC Batyovo :-)
On wednesday starts the european campagne for the ukrainian clubs.
From the next season we could earnt some points, now we are at 46th place.
Champions League 1st round:
FC Batyovo - GJUNIOR (CYP)
Would be nice, if our champion could qualify against the cypriotic team, last year lost Nikolaev against them, maybe this time we get more luck.
European League:
Prykarpattya - YELLOW REFUGEES (GRE)
Last year big luck, this time not. The "refugees" are on much much higher level than us.
The third international cup team, MFC Nikolaev starts in the second round of European League qualifications.
Batyovo in front, Prykarpattya lost
Batyovo made a great win against GJUNIOR on the first game in Champions League qualification (4:1)
While Prykarpattya started well into the game, but at the end lost by 3:1 against the greek side.
First leg results:
FC Batyovo - GJUNIOR (CYP) 4:1
Prykarpattya - YELLOW REFUGEES (GRE) 1:3
Tomorrow are the second leg games, while the league fights are also starting.
Prykarpattya - FC Batyovo in the first round.
+1 European place, and the champion starts in Q2 instead of Q1.
Champions League, Q1:
FC Batyovo - GJUNIOR (CYP) 4:1, 2:1
FC Batyovo qualified (6:2).
European League, Q1:
Prykarpattya - YELLOW REFUGEES (GRE) 1:3, 0:3
YELLOW REFUGEES qualified (6:1)
With the 2x wins for Batyovo we will get (at least) the same points than last season, it means + (around) 500 points already in (S54 we got only 125 points). With 46th place we have 3 + 1 spots in Europe.
Tomorrow starts the 2nd round:
Champions League:
FC Batyovo - Steaua (MDA)
European League, Q2:
MFC Nikolaev - FK Mazyliai (LTU)
Suprising win for Batyovo, Nikolaev is back
Batyovo followed their run in the CL, they won 2:1 against the champion of Moldova by 2:1.
Nikolaev started also their campaign in the Europa League. They were defeated by the lithuanian team 1:3.
Champions League Q2:
FC Batyovo - Steaua (MDA) 2:1
Europa League, Q2:
MFC Nikolaev - FK Mazyliai (LTU) 1:3
Batyovo in, Nikolaev out
In CL Q2 earnt FC Batyovo a 1-1 tie in Moldova, which means, that the ukrainian champion qualified into Q3.
In Europa League MFC Nikolaev lost in Lithuania, they are out.
Champions League, Q2:
FC Batyovo - Steaua (MDA) 2:1; 1:1
FC Batyovo qualified (3:2)
Europa League, Q2:
MFC Nikolaev - FK Mazyliai (LTU) 1:3; 0:3
FK Mazyliai qualified (6:1)
Champions League, Q3:
FC Batyovo - FC ReTards (DEN)
With this qualification into the next round, Batyovo will have at least 4 more games in Europe, our league is getting more and more competitive, the league is already around place 40 in the "live-ranking".
Well done, and good luck! - Szép volt, sok szerencsét, Bátyú!
Another good game for Batyovo
The ukrainian champions continued their campaign in the Champions League.
Against the danish team they earnt a 1:1 draw in the first game.
CL, Q3, first game:
FC Batyovo - FC ReTards (DEN) 1:1
With this result our league will climb up on the rankings from 46th place, we are currently at place 40, we would need one more draw at least to earn 39th place (currently Albania is there), but we would be better than Russia, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Andorra and Belarus.
Some of these nations are going to play today, but they are underdogs against their opponents.
The league is developing.
Champions League out, but first leg drawn against Bucovina in Europa League
Champions League Q3, leg 2:
FC ReTards (DEN) - FC Batyovo 5:0
Qualified: FC ReTards (6:1)
Batyovo moved into Europa League playoff round, where they are facing FC Bucovina from Romania.
First leg:
FC Batyovo - FC Bucovina (ROU) 0:0
With this draw the league overtook 9 leagues in the league rankings this season: Azerbaijan, Czech Rep, Montenegro, Belarus, Albania, Sweden, Andorra, Russia, Luxembourg. Rank 38th.
Our league is better than the russian league :)
Project Stadium
We get in some days our 20,000 stadium, we are not planning any new players for the rest of the season.
After some home games, we are looking forward to extend the stadium than to 35,000 spectators.
We are looking to the next season what Europe says. If we get again such a strong team, we will save money, play mostly with ukrainian players, and focus on the stadium with an upgrade to 50,000 spectators.
