So, a new season awaits! Are we already for the big kick off? As a European novice, I'm doing my best to get knocked out of the European League before I've kicked a ball in the domestic competition... I think we've just got our 4 Champions League spots back too, so hopefully my results don't stuff up our coefficient too much...

Last season was a huge disappointment as the team felt all over the place at times, but with a big turn over of players and youth having more of a role this season the hope is we can get closer to the top and do better in Europe!

Strood City Legends Alami, Ghanim, Cheung & Wolter have all moved on and Sung, Sumual & exciting young talent Riccardi have all been brought to the club.

In terms of predictions this would be my top 5:

Nilehorses United
Seaburn Beach (I think they can follow up with another top 5 finish)

Weird start to the season - won both tough away games (Strood and Red City) and lost at home to the Spirit Squad...hoping to threaten the European places this time after 9th and 8th in the last 2 seasons.

Squad developing nicely - all that cash spent on facilities and not on transfers starting to pay dividends - now need to save the cash to upgrade the stadium to 70,000 capacity!

I just came back from my RV trip...what a bad start...it is very tough to stay in the Premier League this season....

I've had a near perfect start to season, 3 matches I'd of drawn or lost last year I managed to win, and 1 game that was a expected loss I managed to force a draw, 10 points 4 games and was sitting pretty 1st place for a time quite happy, lets see what game no 5 brings

*Sigh* A long hard season in prospect, I fear.
