As a Liverpool fan, I'm sad to see Mourinho go - I thought he was doing an excellent job!
Apparently United still have to pay him for the remainder of the contract (around 20 million pounds) - a nice early Christmas gift!
It's what Jose does. He did the same with Chelsea; got long term contract and then suddenly team started play much worse.

They just need manager who trusts them. Look at Hazard now and compare how he played in last season under Mourinho. Once normal manager comes in, MU will be top 4 contenders (maybe they need one more central defender).
Jose has the tendency not to know what to do with stars after first season. That happened at Real, then Chelsea and now MU.
After all,they were playing Cardiff.....
Neil Etheridge saved a penalty again. Sad to say that he won't be able to play in the Asian Cup for the Philippines. But happy that he's doing great in the prem.
Etheridge was left out of the squad because
he can only commit to play for one match—
against South Korea on Jan. 7—as Cardiff City
is currently locked in a tight battle to stay in
the top flight in England.
