E: Ecuador, Switzerland (wouldn't be surprised if France finished 4th, but with them you never know - they could easily finish 1st too)

I'm surprised at the faith in Netherlands, most Dutch will be, I think, because our team is not very strong this time around. We still do have some superstars, but the team seems to be in a transition phase with many youngsters from the Dutch league being a part of the team. The talent is there, but there are big question marks on how they will perform on the highest stage. Nevertheless, I hope it will be a great World Cup for everyone.

I agree with Garfman. I don't think their youth bonus will compensate for their lack of tactics and experience.

They still have a stronger team than Chile, and Netherlands was the superior team in their qualification group with nine wins and one draw. I'm more surprised by peoples faith in Ecuador and Japan.

The Netherlands did a good job in this Cup semi-finals, but you can not go forward :)

In Quali they didn't encounter any decent teams.

Dutch defense is crap.
Those guys are used to the Dutch league level.
A league where foreigners that barely were succesfull in their own country allows to end up being topscorers.
Then after being transferred to a more decent league, nobody hears from them again.

Chili seems to be a little underrated in here.
They did well in Quali to, but nobody seems to have noticed.


In fact, over here people always were very confident in the past.
People were buying goodies and showing off the orange colours.
Currently however, nobody seems to bother.
Might have something to do with Louis van Gaal, people rather see that pompous idiot get eliminated in the first round then see him win a single match :D

I do have some confidentie in van Gaal actually he is a smart tactician and good team builder.
I dont think we Will reach THE finals but we Will get past THE group phase.
