Season 75 (107)
Congrats from me too. It seems that you might be right about the 15 - at least with Seaburn. According to your missions your personal record is 15 with your Jamaican team. However, missions only started in 2017.

I'm just happy to break Numpty's predictions :)
Predicted me 9th but the boys did me proud and baring something very strange, it will be 3rd
Unless we whip you 14-0. Just hope I don't go for 'big win" then. :-)
I support a good whipping. Needs to be punished for humiliating my prediction.
Well that caps a dreaful end to the season. Suspensions and red cards costing me dearly. A season which was going much better than expected, ends in disappointment.
Not really surpising with the day I've had. Mobile just dies and had to buy a new one, and the electrics have gone in my kitchen.
Poor you Dragontao. Tomorrow and next season will be much better!
I'll happily take my best season ever! Sadly my team is starting to age so unless a miracle happens I'll be back fighting of relegation next season.
So the final table, with my predictions in brackets, looks like this:
- (1st) Seaburn Beach
- (2nd) Newcastle United
- (9th) Jaypridee Town
- (4th) Canvey Island
- (3rd) Scammonden Daoists
- (5th) Forever We Are Wolves
- (12th) Cardiff City FC
- (7th) Bolt On Wonderbras
- (6th) Tottenham Hotspur FC
- (11th) heavens light
- (10th) Les Gothiques Amiénois
- (8th) Oxford United
- (13th) Fuchsia FC
- (15th) Robbing Hoodies
- (14th) Canvey Pixels
- (16th) Liverpool FC★
- (18th) Arsenal Football Club ™
- (17th) Birmingham Hunter
- (19th) We Lost
- (20th) Whitehaven Town
Big congrats, and first prize, goes to Bakerman for proving me wrong.
I finish the season as expected, the next one will be even more difficult having to play with players with increasingly lower levels, but I will do my best!
Today last match for our England towards the world championships!
Doing a great job for club and country Charlie. Keep it going.
Congratulations Stephen for your trophees this season

Arrrgh, even worse, level on points with 6th and 7th but worse goal difference. Makes the points dropped in the last few games even more costly. European place would have been wasted on the team though as the team are declining, so hopefully those that finished above me will have a better showing for the English league.
Sadly Monk, next season won't be better. No incoming players, everyone else on the decline. A few who would be considered first teamers may even be sold. Mid table at best. Probably lower.
Thanks for the kind wishes. Now the transfer market is open and we can all waste our time looking at players we can't afford and hoping for someone with more money than sense to bid on our players!
@Dragontao - sound like a pretty rubbish day. I like Monk's optimism for a brighter future
On the are goalkeepers too powerful - no they wouldn't be if the retirement age / decline with age was sorted out, which doesn't exactly sound impossible if they was actually someone doing any development on the game. The fact that 45 year old goalkeepers can be the best in the world and 60 year old goalkeepers still playing is stupid!
All that would be needed would be to adjust the decline on the blocking skill with age surely?
For me the switch from a god-like goalkeeper to (slightly below league) average goalkeeper was 17 points and 30 extra goals conceeded. Probably slgihtly more in points as the rest of the team got better and scored a lot more :)
