Sorry I didn't say congratulations to Flameless Hero FC for winning the league, earlier! Also congratulations to Edmonton Cyclones for beating my team in the playoffs!

This season feels like a repeat of last season... Let's hope not!

The Cyclones came down to a shoot out of moving up to level 1.  Maybe this year they will make it up there.  Then I can have a shot at the top 3.

I would suggest that we everyone tries to buy a ticket to everyone elses match, it means a little more attendance and money for everyone, but more importantly I think it helps with popularity too.  You get more money for your attendance for playing against more popular teams...

Good suggestion George, I will certainly try to. It is good to see that the Canadian leagues are getting more competitive every year. As League of Canada [2] currently has no bot-teams. Our leagues have made great progress!

And to no-one's surprise, the Pineapples are largely forgotten.

And to no-one's surprise, my team sucks so far.

Thanks a lot guys.

It is quite the bottle neck after the first two spots.  It is good to see so many people putting in the work to have competative teams.  We should vote Georgle LGeorge off the island though for not letting the rest of us win enough games.  At least let us score some goals :)

Seriously?

I was just looking through the list of managers at your club, CyAmethyst, and I noticed that I used to manage it. I managed it when it was back in League of Canada (first tier), but was in the last place!

And yet I've managed this club for over 104 days, and the only good thing that's happened under my tenure was a Tier 3 championship.

104 days is not very long compared to a lot of the players in league 2.  If you look at everyone's popularity, it is a good indication of how long they have played.  A good move is look for people with a higher rank than their popularity suggets they should have and look at what they are doing.  I have found it is a good blueprint to moving forward.

Then again I have been in 4th-6th place in level 2 for a few seasons now so not a lot of progress here either.

Yet you haven't suffered the pain of relegation for a few months.

I took over the team and immediately got relegated.

I started in League of Canada [3.1], in one of the worst teams in the division. So you're feeling my pain. But honestly, League of Canada [2] is certainly harder than it used to be when I was first promoted.

I started off in level 3 and worked my way up.  My first season in level 2 I barely held on.  It took 3-4 seasons to work my way up where I am now.  This is not a quick game and never will be.  The people in Level 1 have been playing for years.  It takes quite a bit to get up there.  Cyclones has been playing for over a year.  He has been up and down between level 2 and 3 and is getting close to promotion where he would likely lose every game in league 1.  This can be a very competative game and the only way to improve is 1 player and building at a time.

For me, this season is about gaining one forward which was bad for Kitchener as that guy scored the winning goal against him in his first game :)
