Congratulations Stephen (it really is getting tiresome now), and commiserations to BakerMan (I'm guessing Canvey will not be on your list of summer daytrip destinations).
Commiserations also to Alex for missing out on the coveted 3rd place - the Pixels owners, management, and staff wish you all the best with next season's European adventure.
Thanks Lee, we are looking forward to a another double goaless draw against an Estonian pub team.
@Alex - the playoffs. At worst, you'll end up in the EL groups. You're definitely playing 8 matches next season of continental competition.
Thanks all for your words. Seaburn is now the most successful domestic side ever in England with 22 leagues and 22 Cups, surpassing Liverpool City's 21 league titles.
I am now going to waste a significant chunk of my life scouring the transfer market for the players to allow me to compete for longer in Europe.
Lee - all my players will be spending their summer holidays on Canvey Island and watching compulsory repeats of the last two matches every day accompanied by O Fortuna from Carmina Burana. We believe in tough love at the Town.
Hard luck on missing out on Europe - I was convinced there was going to be a Double Canvey tour of Europe.
Unlike Stephen (and this may be a telling reason why Seaburn have 300,000 titles and I have none) I shall spend the off season ignoring the transfer market apart from trying to offload some players to balance the books.
the Frenchies will be fine next season in D3, the objective will of course be maintenance. a+theo
