Took a snapshot of the current league standings. That's not even close to  where we are going to be for a long long time

The interesting parts of managing a new team:

*You don't get to create a new player.

* I asked for a not old not young but balanced team ...Almost all players are at similar mediocre level lol

*No starters bonus . Rather you get some money to start out with which seems less than the starter bonus I remember

* Fewer indian players in the market than I remember which probably is a reason for the current NT ranking and league ranking

Now for the better part*"

*The team I managed long back(Bombay FC) has  better manager than me and is flourishing.

*"It's good to see Arpit Arko and other managers from before I left still around and going strong.

*And having no bot teams is always good it should help improve the rankings

Will be a closer season than the last few seasons, Keju got some good reinforcements and i see that Art of Bar is also investing money :D

Meanwhile i got a new goalie since i had a lack of talent in between and i need to get rid of some older players while they still can give me some money.

Just realised how dumb I was to not assign a 2nd staff to FA...My Scouts have been unnecessarily hoarding a staff...

Thanks dwapar!

I m speaking of off memory and I m old as hills and maybe that's why I don't know what a Football academy is but from what I remember from back in the days, the only time a second staff member in ScoutAcademy made sense was when you were creating players using credits

I don't know about your history here, viktor, but it is always great to see a returning player. I have this old stupid game. I often lose and give up, but I keep coming back there :p. It is called Hattrick, maybe some of you might heard of it...

Anyways, I checked a lot of teams. A lot of you are increasing buildings. I have bought some older players to keep a bit of quality in the team to be able to stick around in 1st division, but nothing more. Increasing my stadium will be my very next step. I don't know if I will be able to finish 6th once again. ;-)

My long term goal is to make an all Indian team here with own youth players and still be able to be competitive.

I have to be honest: I did think about making this second club my head club, because the league in Luxembourg is quite boring with nog much activity in the forum. But the place Vianden brings back good holiday memories and I have build the club from zero to where it is now: stable and after this season I will be able to upgrade my stadium to 10 there...

Good luck to you all!

Right on Bartje_vM. My initial plan waslike yours  to get players and compete this season and build the stadium up. But the club had like maybe 2,000,000 which barely helped me get my stadium. And having less than a week of TM meant there was not a lot I could buy. Our first match made it pretty clear how far behind the team was  when we gave up 2 goals in ten minutes. Hopefully I have enough saved by the mid-season transfer window to build through TM.

May 18th is a date you want to circle on your calendar this season. The events that unfold during the day will decide if teams from the Indian league deserve more representation in the international competitions.

First Bengaluru FC play SPL Imperial College at Yan Shu stadium in Riyadh in the second leg of Asian League Qualifying Round 2  at 8:47 am;. Having upgraded their team nicely over the offseason, Bengaluru scored not once or twice but five times in a dominant home leg over the weekend. They should move to the next round if in the away leg in what should be a fairly straightforward affair the Bangalore boys can keep their wits about them

Goal Diggers go from Bangalore the city of eight-hour traffic jams  north east to Banepa of eight ponds for the Asian League qualifier at 8 55 am. The Goal Diggers defence stood stout at home to ensure that Ramgran barely got four shots at goal. Their offseason acquisition from Tonga proved he was worth every paise by owning the middle third with GoalDigger Academy graduate and a longtime mainstay Kali Medha. They will hope  their forwards show up to the party in the away leg .

The Thundering Pune Thundercolts fly south across the equator to Santiago to play the u21 youth from the Colo Colo team at 5:30 pm.  The Les filial also called the  Colo Colo B team, who have never missed a U21 Champions Cup. Both teams had an excellent run the National youthcup last season scoring almost 40 goals between them. The Thundercolts have their work cut out trying to stop the red hot Ricardo Perdomo. But after having lost the starting job to Negus Kibowen,Taki Chao will want to show he is the wall in front of the net.

Good luck to all of you guys! I know I am rooting for you.
