I would very much enjoy having some kind of chatbox during a match where you could talk to the others watching the match.

Or even just a chatbox somewhere on the site, maybe even use some kind of IRC integration.

I like the idea also, but it might take up too much bandwidth on the server I think. Maybe the developers can test it on some important matches, like World champions or Champions League first when it becomes available.

I know a kind of chat that doesn't use banwidth... or that's what I believe. You can "embed" your chat (I don't know how to say it) in the page and that's all. I'll send you the chat by PM.

A general game chat could be easy to set up. Just need to make an IRC channel. If people are interested in this I wouldn't mind setting up a channel.

Using IRC wouldn't use any bandwidth at all, and I know the devs have some knowledge of IRC from some other games they've used to run.

Yea, they have implemented a ingame IRC-Chat on another game they developed called Last knights, and it is very user friendly!

And yea Vic, a IRC channel would be cool!
