Belgium has got many great players, the best quality squad by far they ever had in fact, but in my view they are not a team, and there's nobody who's a real leader in the team. The ones who present themselves as leader, haven't got what it takes to make the squad a team of winners. Back in the old days, it used to be the other way around: not very special players, but relying on teamwork, and with lots of commitment and tactical strength.

Against mediocre teams in the qualification rounds, they are able to overcome this default, but against the top teams, like Spain, Germany, Argentina, Brasil, France, Uruguay, these defaults come to the surface.

I remember the Euro 2016 game against Wales, also a mediocre team with only one really great player (Bale), but Wales was a real team. Well, Wales sliced Belgium to pieces.

I expect the same is going to happen in Russia. So for me they are not amongst the favourites.

By the way, don't forget Romelu Lukaku as forward in the Belgian team.

Favourites will be, as already mentioned, Spain, Germany, Argentina, Brasil, France, and Uruguay as outsider maybe

Bayern and Barca had a lot more of their own nationals than Man City.

England can't purchase all the best players to help them win.

Barca and Bayern didn't exactly have loads of competition when dominating their leagues, Pep took over a team that had just won loads at Bayern. You place too much stock in his coaching. No way he'd have won the league with Chelsea last season with the sqaud COnte had.

England have nice GKs, highest level defenders, good DM, young and very talented wingers and pair of extra class forwards like Kane, Vardy.

They don't have only playmaker like Eriksen, Iniesta, Xavi, Ezil.

Dragontao never said England would win , I was talking about Belgium. I just expressed my surprise on the fact mentioned by asmodeus

i don't think England can win. They don't have a system unlike other teams . Everyone knowns Spain ,Brazil and Germany have a certain system and a quality manager/coach which I don't see with england

I was actually replying to Asmodeus use of Pep as an omen for the national side of the league he's managing in. It's a different kettle of fish now, and I'm afraid I find him an arrogant and petulant flat track bully.

Flat track bully is a phrase used exclusively for Cricket,so bad linkup.

Brazil can,but most likely Germany.Just look at their squad depth.

Sweden if Zlatan is back.
