Selling 15-16 Year Players (3)

eng holt >> 星期四 七月 2 - 03:03, 已编辑 星期四 七月 2 - 03:04

There is always a massive demand for 15-16 yr olds and <30 million ₤ and they usually sell at their maximum asking price ie. a player of 10 million MV selling for 30 million.

But does it really make sense to sell these players?(except when your squad is full)

I feel that if the player is trained well, his discard value would be more than 30-40 million and hence by selling them at 16,you're losing out on a decent amount of profit.

I guess that depends on who you get back for it. If you can sell these without having to invest much time training them and can buy back players on which you can make the same amount or more profit or it can support buying players you can fit into your main squad in the future (if your FA is high enough), it can be profitable to sell them. I haven't calculated the details and I'm not familiar with that segment of the market, but I imagine it is possible to be profitable like that. Compared to what I have to do, it saves a lot of seasons of training before you cash in, allowing you to train more players in the same amount of time.

Yeah, it's not simply a case of making a profit. It's how long does it take to train the player and how quickly can you get a return?

If it takes 5 seasons to train a player can you make money faster a different  way?

That depends on many factors, such as how much money you have to invest, how quickly the players rise in value, your squad space. Plus how good you are with the transfer market and buying and selling other players.
