The best game update in YEARS!!!!
Made me sad. They are able to identify, prioritise and deliver that but not to update obvious issues with the game. It just shows where their priorities are.
Best update... yeah... although is not working.
Worked for me. I got an ancestry ad.
Doesn't work for me. Screen just goes dark for a few seconds and nothing happens.
Not going to report it as a bug though. Bugs don't get fixed ...
Have to agree with Monk. So many issues and bugs need fixing and then they do this.

There were already ads on this site. Only now you get credits for watching them. The horror! Disgusting indeed.

I get to see viewable ads on another game that I play so those work fine. Ads by Google I think.
Ad for credits? It may be attractive only for newer users who have few credits. My teams have them thousands and i wasted them some time ago when created some liliputins to farm them for money. All with carefully selected first names :) Maybe must repeat it soon.
Hopefully the millions the site will earn from running these ads will be pumped into game development......yes, I recently received a bang on the head.

In all seriousness though, it is comforting to know there is still someone lurking in the shadows making minor tweaks and keeping an eye on things.
