Good Lord, hadn't spotted that. That's probably because I'm still sulking at those results with Canvey Pixels over Christmas when my team were spending too much time with the cheese board.
But this turns the next match with the Hoodies into a massive one. Instead of us both cantering towards the promised land of the EL, it turns out there can be only one. Looking at our fixtures we both have some difficult games. And match day 38 brings the Pixels to town in a match sure to have me sulking some more in the post-season...
I think Stephen might need some therapy.......or a Pixels scarf - not sure which.
Important match for European Cup qualification tonight between Seaburn Beach and Robbing Hoodies
A draw away at Canvey Island, the acceptable face of well, erm, Canvey Island, was rapidly followed by a 3-4 thriller. The Wonderbras gave the Beach a much needed lift in a bonkers match where all the goals were scored in the first half. The Hoodies tried manfully to undo the Wonderbras defence, but they had the protection they needed to hang onto all three points.
Is this the end of the Hoodies challenge for Europe?

Blackwhite can't be far away though. The goals scored and against columns are not all that different and getting that many points to finish second must mean things are on the right track.
I was reasonably happy with my 7th place finish. Much above expectations, thanks in the main to 3 players lol. If not for those, I'd have been relegation fodder. All it takes is a couple of serious injuries. I dread to think what it would cost to heal Lopan. Probably more than I could replace half my team with.
Should I be concerned that I spend more time deliberating over the decisions I make in Rocking Soccer, than those in real life?
No @Lee. That's entirely reasonable and logical. You have seen behind the curtain and know that this game is real and 'real life' is the simulation.
