Urgh... Another game where my side just hasn't been able to find the back of the net. This has been a rough season...

Well after the last campaign, the new boss can hardly do much worse. We have a World Cup to defend, dammit! (Most people probably aren’t even aware of this, given how rarely I mention it

That does seem a little harsh.
Only lost one game as England manager and that was due to the match engine throwing in a underserved loss, I know you have all had them, I read them on the forums.
17 wins, 6 draws and 1 loss.
Not a bad record at international level.
I will not be going for the England job again. Good luck to whoever gets it. Unless you get a 100% win record they will be some people complaining.

Qualification was probably the minimum objective. You failed it and, most of the time, that would pretty much be enough for an NT manager to get sacked. In real-life anyway.
Sorry Natsumi. Feels like this is the first 50-50 game I've won all season, but I know how rubbish it is to be on the other side...
And another 3 points for my side sees us move outside the relegation zone for the first time in forever! The great escape is on...
