Great to see some life back in these forums!! I think I have finally built a team to push to league one again; however, I feel like my team will not be ready to fight to stay up.

My top goalscorer Dione is off to a rip roaring start scoring at a blistering pace. He will probably score the most goals in a season ever for a player from my club. My defense is young and gives up some goals but with the offense producing like it has, it doesn't even matter!

Good Luck, Danny! I earned the first point of the season for us today and to be honest, the defense broke in the 87th minute and allowed the equalizer. I feel like we lost two points that we should have had but it is what it is. This team is going to be a slow-build anyway. We will see what the new transfer window brings this weekend.

This is turning out to be a very rough season for my club, but that's hardly a surprise since I've been building this club extremely quickly. Probably much faster than is healthy. Battalion is weaker talent-wise than just about every club in the league and that's usually a sure sign of relegation, but I have been scraping up a point here and a point there against superior opponents, so there is certainly still hope to avoid outright relegation.

The youngsters are getting a lot of minutes as I've accepted relegation. Time to build and come back better and younger!

Great match ranks! You had me on the edge of my chair the whole way...your squad played an excellent game...I was hoping for some breathing room with the late yellow but your D shut us down...I wish you success the rest of the way building your lads in to a powerhouse :-)
