Match day 10 (2)

Natsumi's Army put rivals Tranby Park FC to the sword today, in a match predicted as a tight contest. The London side hosting hull based visitors in a match that saw 5th place vs 6th place, they were level on points and had only goal difference separating them prior to the game, but they looked anything but level on the day, as Natsumi saw her side cruise into a 4-0 lead the first coming 17 minutes in when the familiar combination of Streang and Undrea lead to Undrea scoring. Streang bossed the left midfield and created serveral chances for Undrea and strike partner Cambria. Cambria scored the 2nd in the 39th minute and at 2-0 half time away from home Gower's side had a mountain to climb. getting back into the game was going to be a big test for the away side, and sadly its one they failed spectacularly.

They simply collapsed in the second half, as a merciless home side ripped apart some hideous defending. Undrea getting his brace on the 55th minute followed by Newman scoring on the 61st, some complacency lead to to the hull side scoring a consolation goal 66 minutes in making it 4-1, but it was only bad finishing from the home side that kept it at 4-1. The army registered a total of 22 shots on target, and were particularly in the opening hour of the match clinical with there finishing forcing saves or scoring with every attack.

The fans who were calling for Natsumi's head after the first two home loses and a star that saw Natsumi's army loose 3 of there first 5 games, were chanting 'we going to win the league by the end of the match' Its far to soon to make such predictions but what a turn around the team the lingered in 17th place after a dreadful start now sees themselves unbeaten in 7 in all competitions and now 3rd place in the league. The pop princess Natsumi spoke briefly to our interviewers and played down recent results and asked fans to keep level heads.

'We've been good lately and today was a great match, the teams jelling better together and theirs plenty of quality on the pitch, however this is a very difficult league and you never quite know whats around the corner, we are still in the cup were in the youth cup still, and we 3rd in the league I can understand our fans excitement but they should remember we had a excellent start last season before fading there's, still 28 games to go we will have a better idea of what our goals should be and what we should be pushing for once the January transfer window is closed and we've played more then half the matches this season. Robinbing Hoodies took on Stoke town in fierce East Midlands derby today at the New Victoria Ground. The bookies making the home side firm favourites.

The new French star bought in, to add fire power to the Hoodies front line finaly gave something back to Cloughie, who had shown faith in the ageing striker.

It took just 20 min for Le Doulcet to break the deadlock with an excellent finish from outside the box. It did not take him long to add to his talley with another long range effort which will be hard to beat for goal of the month. It was an exciting first half that ended 0-2, with Le Doulcet the talking point.

After the break the Hoodies defended well ending the game with a rare clean sheet whilst Le Doulcet scored his third sending the away fans into song-

e-i - e-i - e-i-o up the football league we go!

A third successive win for the Hoodies has changed their early misfortunes a full 360.

Is this the start of their title challenge or is this just a blip in their miserable season?

When we caught up with Cloughie after the game he refused to do an interview stating the 'conjestion of fixtures next week will be the undoing of his side!'
