Season 75 (18)
That's 75 seasons . In some parts of the world, that would be considered a Diamond Jubilee. The game progression is slow but that also means you don't have to spend hours each day. The game development was paused a few seasons back but that also means the game engine is consistent enough to make long term plans.
Goal Diggers progressed in the Asian Champions league with wins over Kanda FCas did Inazuma in the Asian League with wins over Manila Fc. Bengaluru play their away fixture later today. Air FC lost on penalties in the Youth Champions league to FC Luzern.
The opening league match saw Nepal Police Club try a new keeper and barely hold on to a win after scoring 4 goals against FC Delhi . The rest of the first three weeks have gone per script and have not seen any upsets. The most interesting match was the week 1 Goal Diggers vs Mohan Bagan encounter,a see-saw battle which saw 9 goals scored. Yesuto Mamoepa's goal in the 89th minute sealed a win for the home team.
On a personal note, we have never been this high (3rd) in the league standings after 3 matches. That will change by the time the rest of the matches for the week gets played in the next couple of hours,unless of course they all end in draws.
Good Luck everyone
What are your plans for the season?
We made some record sales so we got loads of cash on the bank. Plan is to build up reserves so my superstar players can be payed in the coming 10 years :)
Further more ill see if i can manage to qualify for group stage in CL and get some results there. My keeper is only improving now so i hope this will also help with the international results.
I am happy to see that the competition in India is also growing stronger. Soon i think we can be with multiple teams in the group stage of the continental cup.
Out of ACL Q3 and soon we well be out of Cup R2, this will be a peaceful season for my team.
Good luck to all in asian competitions :)
Clash of the unbeatens today Goal Diggers vs FC Ulhasnagar
RNG was totally on the side of goal diggers today :p My godlike keeper did everything wrong while his fairly avarage keeper played the game of his life.
This mid season I am planning to start the final upgrade for the stadium.
Rest everything is going pretty slow and boaring.
Why of all people, I always get the hardest draw in ALs???
@arko:
Yeah, noticed that aswell that luck is really not on your side :( Bengalure and Goal diggers also got tricky draws.
Its stupid that i have an easier draw in the CL than you guys in the AL. Even though i was not seeded.
The first round of Asian League matches were at home and saw a draw and two 1-goal difference losses . Nice work Arko Art of Bar and Keju and Good luck for the away leg!
Lol@ Eckhart's Sept 1 match report
India NT plays the third round 1 match of WC Qualifications today against Japan. The group is tricky in that Japan have a much better side than the remaining teams and any points India gets in today's match will be a bonus and will help offset the loss to S korea in Round 1 Match 1
This has not been a terrible season overall . I had 0 luck in transfer market loans but the matches have mostly followed a script. I have to remember to login and sell 8 players in the transfer window. My tA 1 will be ready in a week.i am not sure if I should increase my youth academy to level 9& 10 first or build office to level9 and get a fanshop staff. Any advice?
@amal:
I would advise you to go as much as possible for the money buildings like stadium, fanshop and catering. Money is key in the game.
Small update: in CL i am at 9/9, so this goes unexpectidly well. Next round is lurking around the corner.
Great work Eckhart...
The mid season window saw 30 transfers by managers in our league (and one by a bot). 9 of those were inbound of which 2 players looked promising.
AIR FC managed to clear out 3 roster spots. We did not find any players that fit our mould aka " we did not bid enough to get any players to come"lol
How satisfied are you with your transfers in this window ?
Good Luck Eckhart in Asian Champions League R16!
Japan has virtually sealed their spot for the next round ofWCUP Qualifications. india won the home match against Korea Republic to ensure that the fight for the other qualification spot will go down to the wire. India NT is currently ahead of Korea Republic in Group 2 on goal difference but both teams play Japan and Kuwait over the next two encounters. If either team manages two wins - Without meaning any disrespect any of the teams concerned, this scenario is unlikely unless Japan decides to go easy in a match since they have already qualified- they qualify for the next round. The most likely scenario is that India and Korea Republic will get 3 points from the remaining two matches and it will all come down to goal difference.
Btw can someone please remind tamil_an and Mr_Arpit to login-TX
