With 37 minutes left in the game today, my backup keeper who subbed in got injured, forcing my sweeper to play goal.  He proceeded to block 4 shots and earn a clean sheet.

I thought I was doomed when I woke up to find my starting keeper injured on the day I faced the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.  My backup's passable but still pretty young for a keeper.  Somehow I came out of the game with a point.  To be fair, even my starter is relatively average in this league though my defense covers for him.

In a completely unexpected turn of events I somehow won the Cup this season?  Shows how random the game can be.  I'll take it, but know the RS Gods will find a cruel way to punish me down the line.

Very happy to playing Rocky Mountain Huskies in the NA League final as one of us will get our first International Tournament Trophy.  Speaks to strength of our US league.
