The problem of skyrocketing wages(1.24 billion Euro) (111)
I would give the manager some ability to negotiate or refuse the wage demands. That would at least be more realistic.
Healing costs are also a big problem for players with big wages. That GK would have cost an eye-watering $115m to speed up the healing of a 24 hour injury.
I think the healing should be removed all togheter
Yeah, probably best.
I've never understood the idea that you can pay a huge fee and magically heal a player using some kind of faith healer or witch doctor. It just makes no sense.
In the real world normal player rehab would be in the health centre with a physio and possibly the club doctor. With most normal injuries a specialist doctor would not be needed or even useful but may help a little on a few occasions. Any fee for a specialist would not be a ridiculous amount running into millions.
What's the point of removing it?
It may not be realistic, but it fits in perfectly with the game's pace.
It gives you the freedom to decide if the player's impact in the future match(es) is offset by the financial impact, which seems to be a much better alternative to not having any control over it.
Anybody wants to buy him (no he's not mine)?

His new weekly wage will be only €36m. This is just ridiculous
This game is too difficult. Who knows Vincent, tell him about it. The game is almost over, if it doesn't improve.
Now 4.8m RSD,if sold than 39.5m RSD weekly wage??? ridiculous
Why is his wage so high though? I mean, he's not like an 8-plus supertalent. And when I compare him to my own goal keeper, they are pretty comparable but my goal keeper only earns 900K a week. And I just put him on the transfer list for one minute, just to check how much his new wage would be, but it would only be a little over 1 million.

Can you guys explain this? Is it just because my own goal keeper is 34 weeks younger and will he have a huge wage as well if I wait another season?
And another thing I've been thinking about: if you have a great supertalent goal keeper, would it work to just - temporarily - not train him to the max? For instance, train him until he's 25 years old and then just save his XP until he's 35 years old and then train him? Because older players have a much lower wage?
Or, if I owned this guy (https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-1950736 ) would it work to un-train him (convert as much training back to XP as possible) and then just save his XP until he's older and his wage doesn't skyrocket when you re-train him?
@Counter, thats a great idea to bypass the extreme wages imo....
just hope not everybody will do it, othterwise there will not be enough teams blowing up their finances because they can't manage and are blindly racing to the top with ta/ya 5 and to expensive top talents.
I know :-)
I was actually considering buying Ming-jiang Kung if he would become cheap enough, then un-train him and save his XP until his wage would have dropped enough. But I was afraid his wage would have still been way too high, even after un-training 0,5 balls on his blocking skill.
Anyway, now that he's lost forever, I thought I would share my thoughts on the subject :-D
As far as I know Vincent made a change a long time ago (before I started playing) that takes unspent xp into account when setting the player's wage.
It's to stop people from doing what is now being suggested.
I believe I read that somewhere in an old thread.
(It may even partly explain the reason for his current wage.)
Numpty, you're right. Again. :-D
I found it in this topic:
https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/forum/home-en/2?topic=79527
Vincent says: "It indeed will not matter for the wage whether you spend XP or save it. This solves a loophole where you could save up XP for young players to keep wages artificially low."
Thanks @Counter.
I've just found it too, but you were quicker than me. :)
While I was researching this I found another post by Vincent that says specials such as Hardworking are also taken into account when calculating wages.
Clearly the wage formula does need some kind of review though with some of these ridiculous amounts,
I've just found a use for Flank training, Lol. :D
If you've got a superstar player and you want to keep his wages down a bit then you can always try and waste some of the xp on Flank training. It doesn't even cost any credits.
:D :D :D
