My understanding of the issue is.

From League we get.

1 place qualification round 2 to CL

2 place qualification round 2 EL

3 place qualification round 1 EL

4 place qualification round 1 EL

From Cup we get

Winner place in qualification round 3 or place in EL

So all together Finland now has 5 European cup places next season.

National team has played so well that there is a really good chance that this amount will increase for next season.
