Season Tickets (9)
I noticed this in the US Division 1 forum:
"I have one suggestion if anyone is interested. It would probably be beneficial to us all if everyone could cooperate with buying tickets. If your opponents have better popularity, then it will be easier for you to upgrade your stadium and improve your income. The European and Asian leagues seem to have a significant advantage in this area thus far. I suppose that the ticket forum may be more efficient and otherwise sufficient though."
Seems a bit counterintuitive at first, but it's probably actually a good idea to buy tickets for all the games in our league. Obviously for the active players who are already selling all their tickets this doesn't matter. But for the bots and inactive teams this will increase their popularity, so you get more money when you play against them. I've been buying tickets to every match, doesn't take long. Any thoughts?

Good suggestion! I hadn't really thought about this but makes sense. Help one for the good of everyone is a very good thought. I will also be buying tickets to every match. Also, does manager attendance matter in terms of a clubs popularity? If so maybe attend more matches than just your own to boost popularity, and thus more money for everyone.
I agree as well. I didn't think of it, but more competition and popularity seems to benefit the region as a whole. Karank, I don't believe attendance matters except in terms of the managers playing, as you get the attendance boost for the home team and the credit for the away team.
Well, ranks39, Every manager in attendance gives match attendance a boost by 10 visitors and that doesn't help in terms of most users games but in a game at a bot stadium may help because they don't sell tickets, and the more fans the more popularity. I don't exactly know how well each bot teams game is filled up so it may not help at all but just a suggestion, bro.
does having a "new " manager buy tickets not result in a higher popularity increase?
Yes it does. What I'm doing is actually visiting the league page from a different country each home game, go on the results page and click on the link of the games yet to be played and buy a ticket with a return link to my own game. It takes 5 minutes to quickly click on those links, copy/paste your own link and click. And I find that most of the people are actually buying a ticket back.
But otherwise, if you are online, buying a ticket a few minutes before the start of a game in your own league/country is not a bad idea. Not everyone is actually putting the same effort of grinding popularity :)

It's great to see some managers considering taking up the suggestion. If you ctrl-click and use tabs, it can be done in under a minute.
Unfortunately, the botteams don't get popularity or sell tickets. However, the other teams that don't sell tickets tend to fall noticeably behind in popularity and draw as many as 1,000 fewer fans (depending on the level of your stadium), which can affect finances and make it really difficult to upgrade your stadium in the long run. I don't know how much this would help, but it's worth a try.

Ulysses, welcome to our little slice of heaven, the League 2 forum. I've bought tickets to all the league 2 matches that I have been able to so far, I probably could do it for the Top league, as well. Anyways, feel free to post here anytime, and let anyone else in the League 1 know as well, it's very nice to have an active forum!
The first tickets for Season 6 are now available for purchase. Just a reminder about buying tickets for all the games in the league for those who are interested. The more popular your opponent is, the higher the attendance is for your home games, so I want everyone in this league to be as popular as possible. My upgraded stadium will be ready just in time for the first game of this season, so I need butts in seats.
