Post your hopes, dreams, frustrations, random musings, utter gibberish etc. here.

Super Cup in the bag against Deeprijay. A less than thrilling match eventually won on penalties. Hope to make the CL group stage this season and after that we’ll see what happens. Fairly happy with business - brought in some nice youngsters and sold a few - but not sure that my team is as strong as ast time out. We’ll see soon enough!

In an attempt to court more mon...er, global appeal, Cumbria Trust has shucked off its traditional policy of promoting development of rural Cumbria and headed for the glitzy glamour of the City.

In an interiew today, manager Kesvick said that "the move is welcome; we have been struggling for a while now, and the relocation will help us in courting more money and better players as they do not need to go and spend time in rural England."

It is understood that Fleet Street has been demolished in its entirety to accommodate the new stadium, named "Fleet Arena". Residential and commercial property owners of Fleet Street could not be reached for comment at this point in time.

Well I've started the season by maintaining my failure to win anything at all, but coming really close - 4 lost youth cup finals, 2 lost cup finals, 3 second places and 2 (maybe 3 - can't remember!) lost super cup finals. This one on penalties after a very even match - equal shots, equal on target, equal goals (zero!).

Looking forward to keeping up this consistent record for the rest of this season frown

Candas XI looking very strong on average rating along with the Beach and Red City - the three should really be fighting it out for the title. Oxford, Liverpool and the Town probably top contenders for the other European places. Trying to decide whether to splash a bit of cash in the transfer market or keep building facilities - a couple of holes in the squad that need attention...

Spirit Squad’s manager resigned unexpectedly yesterday. Stephen paid tribute to Natsumi’s contribution to the English game:

”She brought a bit of fun to her press conferences and didn’t take herself too seriously. On the field, she made the most of limited playing resources and achieved some good results despite not often playing the traditional 5-3-2 beloved in this game. She will be a loss to the game and I hope she returns in the future to continue the challenge.”

The team is now in a difficult situation with an ageing star player, a reduction in one level of all facilities and the equally painful loss of all staff members. it remains to be seen what the new manager in charge can achieve.

Sorry Antboy, I think the ME felt sorry for my deeadful forward line today. My third goal in 8 games. Whooopeee. I need to forget to set my advanced tactics more often.

Managed to overturn a 3-1 deficit in the EL round of 32 with a 3-0 home win. Delighted and surprised. After what I thought was a harsh defeat in the first leg, I just didn’t see that sort of turnaround coming. On we go...

Breaking News:

FC Kedoff have announced a name change for the rest of the season (and possibly beyond). This coincides with their new shirt sponsorship with a well known pharmaceutical company.

Club shirts will carry the brand name of a well known sedative to adequately reflect their scintillating on field performaces. As part of the deal, a pharmacy will be opening in the club shop with discounted anti-depressants available to supporters.

The sponsorship deal has allowed the planning of additional features for the next stadium upgrade.

While construction is likely to be some way off, these plans include the installation of reclining seats for all supporters, to enable them to sleep in comfort during games.

More breaking news from FC Kedoff:

Manager Dragontao was rushed to hospital suffering from shock after his team's 3-0 victory. The first time they have scored more than one in a match this season.

Accompanying him in the ambulance were strikers Samuels and Crandle who claimed they were concerned for the manager after their goals lead to his collapse. The two strikers have denied they were simply trying to avoid a mandatory drugs test after Dragontao was overheard saying "just what was that you were putting in your water?".

The F.A have launched an investigation.

Forgot to set my formation for the top of the table clash. Escaped with a 2-2 draw, thankfully. (Was actually winning until the last minute!)

Another League and Cup double for the Beach, with both trophies won today.

Well played to Candas for pushing my lads all the way. Huge credit to him for turning his side from a second division side into top flight title contenders with some astute transfer business. I hope he manages to finish second as it  feels like finishing lower would be harsh and that’s not to be disrespectful to the other sides at the top. It’d just be a shame to see a side just fall away like that.
