Slight difference.. in my first leg I was already 5-0 down against a team similar to mine.. so had no chance in a 2 legged game.

If your comparing it to your game.. you were 4-2 up and still had a chance to win or lose the tie.

In the game I was referring to you were fighting for a champions league spot against a team only a little better and you were home so you had every chance of winning. Plus it was still 15hrs away from your game today so no real need to rest ALL of your 1st team!

Very different in my opinion

Yesterday I was at home to Nilehorses United and they got their keeper injured after 1 minute. Normally this is a bit of disaster until I noticed that the starting keeper was a youth player and the first team keeper was on the bench. Either their manager is psychic or very very lucky.............

I can help you with that one Suffolk..

The manager subbed him after 1 min (he didn't get injured).. It was actually a smart move..

Players only need to play 1 minute of a league game to get the full position experience so the Nilehorses manager was just giving 1 min to his youth keeper.

Personally I do it for the last 1 or 2 mins of a game, but I have seen a lot of managers use a similar tactic to Nilehorses

I thought you needed to play 45. You never stop learning ...

For full Xp your player has to play 45, but for position xp just 1 min.

The XP formula is:

(max experience)*(45+(minutes played))/90

Your player can play just 1min to get half XP if he has no chance to play 20 U21 matches.
