And a new season begins...

Firstly, welcome to Forever We Are Wolves and Leeds United - good luck in League 2 this year.

Next up, welcome back to Birmingham Hunter, Tranby Park and the Robbing Hoodies - League 1 is pretty tough to crack, but I'm sure you'll be battling it out at the top of the table this season.

Predictions: Birmingham Hunter, Robbing Hoodies look like they've both got a good chance of topping the table, but keep an eye on Galacticos FC, who will be looking to finish on a fourth placed finish last season.

As for Cambridge, this summer has definitely been about building for the future, with no players joining the club to go straight into the first 11. After the well documented struggles of the Cambridge defence last year, it could be a decision which comes back to haunt them...

Thanks for the welcome Antboy I'm just happy to survive in the league this season .

I've only bought in one player a decent striker looking to get a decent Goalkeeper in before the transfer window shuts

I do however want to finish above the Villains, Port Morrow and Forever Wolves my ex Sunday League friends from another football manager game

Three matches in and Cambridge are struggling to find their scoring boots. Despite having had more shots in all three of their matches so far, they've been unable to pick up a win.

This makes a change from last season, where their fragile defence kept costing them points... although there's plenty of time for it all to go wrong!

A dissapointing draw for the Hoodies has opened a gap between the promotion hopefuls and the league leaders.

Manager antboy18 had an interesting response when he to found out one of his starting strikers has picked up an injury, keeping him out for almost half the season.

He said

"Who cares? He hasn't scored yet this season anyway..."

The Hoodies showed great charactor against Tranby Town to get the 3 points.

The Hoodies went down to 10 men with only six minutes with a viscious challeng from Balog. 10 minutes later they were a goal behind as well, but it didn't take long for the equasliser.

As the first half drew to a close they found themselves behind once again only for them to show why they are genuine title contenders once again coming from behind to equalise.

After a motiviting speech from Cloughie at half time they took just 3 minutes to score in the second half and then decided to park the bus!
