FA Cup Final

It was our first for both of us and the victory goes to my Gothiques Amiénois against Canvey Pixels in a committed match: A final rich in chances and goals

==> This rewards the good results of my team in the championship in recent seasons: 3 times 2nd and 1 time 3rd

Congrats Blackwhite. You've done a great job with that team.

And commiserations to Lee, it looked like a fairly even game.

One day I dream of a trophy - 11 times 2nd in the league (including an unbeaten season!), 8 times losing finalists in the cup and 30 consecutive seasons of European football and still no senior trophy in England.

If it wasn't for the South Sudanese Cup I might give up!

Congratulations Blackwhite!

My hopes were raised by the early penalty, but you took control from there.

Congrats Blackwhite! Unlucky Lee, at least you have Europe next season, which was the main aim of this year, so that is achieved.

I was hoping to qualify for Europe through my own success.....but I'm definitely not complaining!

Congratulations to Seaburn (and their absentee manager). The big question is: which order will the next 4 teams finish in?

Lee : 6th place qualifies for the 1st European Tour.

==> The difference was that in case of victory in the Cup, it was directly the group stage of the European Cup

==> Do not forget that you won your match against Seaburn in 1/2 final while my team never beat him, great feat..

Financially, if you get lucky in the games, it better to start from round 1 in UEFA as you get 3 or 4 extra home games in. Of course, you don't always play Estonian pub teams and can get a Spanish or Italian quality team early on. It's a gamble!

  • Very good season for my Gothiques Amiénois with this victory in the FA Cup
  • In the league, 4 times second over the last 5 seasons behind the untouchable Seaburn.
  • 136 goals scored like last season but 70 goals for my striker Bode Awere (transfer from this start of the season)
  • This season was at the end of the suspense and we had to wait until the last day for the places of honor (from 2nd to 5th place)

Have a good break everyone

Bolt On Wonderbras have issued a statement that following a generally disappointing season, that tailed off badly at the end, there will be a clear out of some of the older players at the club. Rumours that this has anything to do with manager Dragontao being a fan of the Logan's Run movie were quashed when it was shown that life clocks don't start blinking until 31 at the Underwire stadium and keepers are exempt.

With zero funds allocated to transfers in the summer window, expectations for next season are low and a potential flirtation with relegation is likely.

Despite having a successful first season, which resulted in a European spot, I've decided to sell my main keeper as the finances are just too tight - I can afford him but have no funds to purchase any other players.

I've been given an easy 1st round in Europe but there's no guarantee the 2nd will be as favourable, so the revenue generated from the team's involvement could be limited.

It's unfortunate, but is the responsible thing to do. Fortunately I've received an under-asking bid for him (probably for 128m), so now the search is on for a suitable replacement.
