Season 62 (100)

eng Lee >> thursday november 25 - 21:06

Excitement is building among the Canvey Island fans following today's narrow victory over Cardiff - could this be the season they finish in one of the European spots?

Across town, the Pixels fans are hoping and praying it all ends in tears. They are a pretty miserable bunch on the best of days, so seeing joy and happiness too close could be catastrophic.

There is no truth in the rumour that Canvey Kebab House is preparing a special European themed Chicken Doner meal for two with a side of sour grapes, all in a Pixels coloured limited edition takeaway box.

Congratulations to Seaburn on his new title of Champion

Congratulations also to Cardiff with his victory in England's Cup

Very good season of my Gothiques since we will play the 1st round of qualifying for the European Cup.

Last objective: to pass the 100 goals in the Championship

*Pointless new record alert* Addo (who else?) scored to equal the record of 172 team goals in a single season. A few minutes later Shyamsundar aka The New Addo (TM) spanked in the 4th goal for Seaburn to break the record which had stood since season 9.

Two more games to go to set the new benchmark!

Congrats to @Stephen on another title.

Winning it once is an achievement, but the consistency of 16 in a row is just amazing! Well done.

Congrats to @Alex too, as I think this is the first time that Canvey Island have qualified for Europe. In fact anyone from Canvey, but we won't mention that ...

Thanks! It's "only" 15 in a row, but very much aiming for 16 if possible. 21 league titles are now in the bag and it's one more needed to become the most successful domestic side in English history taking over from Liverpool City.

180 goals in the end, as Seaburn is trying to tie up a lucrative darts sponsorship. Anything and everything is on the table in our desperate attempts to stop haemorrhaging money.

Good to see some new faces challenging. But don't challenge too much ;)

Lol ... checks history ... oh I was never any good at maths :) Have been taking lessons from @Awful.

It seems that I counted 15 in a row and then because the season hadn't finished I added on one for the current season. Not realising that was already included in the 15, so I counted it twice.

Back to skool for me ...

I like the sponsorship deal. Although I noticed Levi 501s had also expressed interest in a deal. Should everyone be worried for next season?

Meanwhile, Eng-er-land march into the knockout stages of the Euros. Without Gareth Southgate at the helm, the boys have won 3 out of 3 in the group stages with 9 goals for and only 1 against.

England are playing sexy football, make no mistake, and we've got a semi now, following a 3-0 QF win over Greece.

Brutal draw for Canvey in the European League first round. Les Gothiques look like they should be OK.

His opponent is essentially a bot team. I'm not saying it'll be easy or anything, but an experienced human manager would probably make things a lot more difficult. A baptism of fire, but hopefully Alex has that asbestos suit we sent him.
