STROOD CITY PRE-SEASON

Plenty of sales at Strood City this pre-season with 8 players leaving the club (with only 1..... the excellent Akhom Alami arriving) and I am looking to sell another 2 before the window slams shut.. happy to make some room in my squad, but a bit nervous that NG (one of the best defenders in the world) has joined league rivals Colne!

I'm looking forward to the new season although injuries will be a new challenge for everyone to cope with.. is your squad strong enough?? Personally I think mine is, but who knows!

How will the new engine effect your side.. have we all got to retrain some of our players? Again who knows.. but I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out! Initial tests suggest goals will be premium and the engine could be even more random this season!

So.. onto the pre-season prediction, which will be so hard considering all the new elements, but at a guess..

1. Nilehorses United (virowin has a great team and is "due one")
2. ☆☆☆☆☆ (☆☆☆☆☆ has made a few great signings)
3. Strood City (I'm worried my team will struggle a little)
4. Colne (always do worse than I predict.. maybe I'm a curse!)
5. Liverpool City (Liverpool always do better than I predict though! ;o))

Another season of consolidation for my team, I think. The level 7 stadium will be ready in time for my next home game and I'm hoping the extra revenue from that can help me fund some player recruitment in the next window.

Today I am rather proud of myself, I had a draw against kezza....


Back to reality, a second sold out match yet I'm still not making money... Stephen I'm failing to see the funds rolling in from D1 not to mention my paranoia about my only keeper getting injured....I'm screwed, let's hope I have enough cash to buy a decent keeper in the transfer window

Increase your catering facilities. You must be taking plenty of gate receipts and merchandise. I was making £650k a game with a level 6 when it was full, so you can't be that far off that? The early season is broken up quite a lot, so once the rhythm of a home game every two days starts, you should notice your bank balance going up.

Looking for a season of survival after coming back up through the playoffs - promising start and a new stadium on the way...

that will have to wait for the end of the season,i am in week two of a TC9 upgrade

To be fair I've only fought mostly relegation candidates, but I did give a good account of myself against one of the promotion candidates, and I drew against a team superior to mine.

Well I'm happy with another draw today, I'm still chasing the elusive 1st win....thou. But considering my lack of strength I'm fairing better than expected
