The season started off for the Freedom with a wild game. A 1-0 result on the road against last season's fourth place finisher, Brooklyn Bats. It was a chippy game seeing 3 red cards in the second half, two to Brooklyn and one the the Freedom. Goodluck to everyone this season and congrats to the teams who were promoted last season.

This is a very competitive division! Coming off a tough but seemingly inevitable loss to the Holy Alliance where my keeper made 5 spectacular saves out of 6 shots on target, he only needed 1 today to keep a clean sheet against Fogyatekos SE to secure the Dutch's first win.

My goal is simply to avoid relegation and make enough money to buy some much needed team upgrades. It looks like the bottom and top of the league will be very close, I'm looking forward to some fun games, none of which will be easy.
