I saw this thread in the level 2 forum and thought it might be interesting to make a similar thread in the level 1 forum.

I'm happy with this roster until I start getting players from a level 8 or 9 youth center. Even so, I still have a few relatively young starters who will continue to play for quite a while in the intermediate run.

My future 11 won't be that "future", some of them are already playing important roles in my current squad:

Tbh, I don't even think I even reached the state to have an 11 for the future yet. The best youths we have from YC 5 and 6 seems to become less competitive too early... The trend now is for youngsters from YC 8, 9, and 10. I will try to get there first before finalizing on my roster...

Realistically, my current starters will probably continue to play for at least the next 5 seasons as many of them are still relatively young, and I have admittedly continued to get better prospects over time. I'm sure that I'll update my future roster as my youth center continues to improve.

I'm finding that there really isn't anything on the market that is much of an upgrade at this point, unless I want to spend $10 million on one of the very scarce level 8 youth center prospects

Upgrading to level 9 or 10 will be very difficult as the cost and maintenance costs are insane and rise exponentially for the highest levels. I don't think anyone but the richest teams with the highest popularity and best stadiums will have a level 9 youth center any time soon, and level 10 will take many seasons.

I'm sure SFVP will finish his YC 8 very early in this season. I can't tell for sure if that would be the right move but looking at his youngsters from the YC 7, I'm actually impressed.

I'm sure at least half of my youngsters could make the list for the Future 11 in about 2 3 seasons or so, but after that they will be soon be replaced by much better generated youths from higher academy. I actually felt sorry to have invested in some of them so many special training.

However, I'm happy that Vincent made the training of fixed stats a lot harder. There won't be crazy super duper players with 9.x strength + speed on the market as I see in last transfer period. At least that is the good thing.

Btw, I'm wondering if this game is getting more managers coming? I felt like it is a bit quiet lately, reflect pretty obvious in the transfer market. What do you guys think?

I will have a level 7 youth center once I finish my training complex. I may work on the health center and fan shop first since level 7 for the training facility and youth center takes a long time. I will consider level 8 for both at the end of the season.

I agree that is a problem with this sort of game. This game is better than some other games in that respect, but it still has that problem.

I know at least 2 other managers that were really into the game but eventually gave up because they were stuck in the lower leagues.
