Season 71 (29)
Hi again all,
Season 71 is about to start. In between seasons i sold Gaekwad and 2 young talents for a total amount of 220mil. Money we need to keep the the numbers in the financial books green. We lose some quality in the striking force but with Ferral, we have a replacement that in one or two seasons will get better than Gaekwad was at its peak.
This season is also the last for Ramprasad and Viayagopalan in the defence. two youngsters are about to get ready and will be launched next season.
aims are to get as far as possible in all continental cups and to win all national cups. Hope for an exciting season in India like last one. the gap is getting smaller.
First victory with India over Bhutan for the WC qualifiers. 3-4!
wow what an achievement. I remeber when we had no balck star players. Ekhart has changed everything not just as the NT manager but also the fact that his club has produced all the black star players. amazing job
Awesome work Eckhart!! I fully agree with everything keju said.
My squad for the last few seasons is on the verge of retirement. As much as there is a a bit of grief/loss, considering when I got them, the replacements will more than likely be better than the current squad.
Although there are a couple of days left, there were only a few transfers of note for the league. After a few slightly active transfer windows,I think it is a sign that squads are ready to compete.
Lets have good season everyone!
Also (belated)Happy Republic day!!
This season is off to a rocky start for us after losing the first round cup match to a bot team. But I learnt that I can't play with just two defenders if they are bad and that I need to pay attention to my tactics when I m setting it. Of course our only goal now is just to finish the season with 99 points and find defenders in the midseason transfer window if not right now
Btw guys, Is it possible to sustain a ya 1 and TA 1 (11th levels) with just a level 8 stadium? I think I saw a team with that but can't seem to find it ?
Good Luck for the season!
My guess is at level 8 with fanshop and catering at 8 with a full stadium, you make 220million per match *16 => 3.5 billion per season.
Upgrading to ya1 and ta 1 would increase you weekly expenses by 28 m or annual expenses by(28*51) 1.428b
So if your current daily profit is more than "-41m" you should be able to do it without going under.
But if you don't have extra cash sitting in your account, you might have to wait for a couple of seasons (I think 4 ish) before you can construct health center up to the required level(atleast level 8-9). But you will probably be able to compete for top 5 in our elague sooner. At some point you will be ready to sell at least 1-4 players at 1.666 B each every season, So you might not go under but it will be a tight rope you will walk
Of course like physicists, I rounded the numbers a fair bit in those calculations, so I would be interested in seeing how well it works out but I think it's doable. The other thing to consider is you will be passing on the opportunity to build stadium to levl 9 when you amass wealth for ta1 and ya1.
Second game: 7-0 victory versus Koeweit. Next confrontation versus Australia will be hard to win but lets see
update: Our friendly interland we also won with 1-0. Lets hope we can climb the rankings a bit more to get better seeds in the future.
That u-21 cup Match was close but like they say ...no cigar.

Congratulations Mohun Bagan and good luck for rest of the cup!
That's great Eckhart! Our National Teqm are so close to breaking into the top 100
1-1 result vs Australia, if we win vs Bhutan in our next game, we can smell the qualification for the second round qualifiers.
When teams are tied on points and goal difference, is scored goals not the tie-beeaker? (For World cup qualifications table)?
Good job Eckhart! An good luck for the match vs Bhutan tomorrow.
As far as my team goes it had 13 popular players by the end of the first season. As they aged out , I have found it difficult to find popular players in the transfer market who are not much worse than my average player and now I only have 7 popular players. And that's why our team is not popular anymore. And that's why we are not getting referee calls. And that's why we are in the relegation zone . That's my story and I am sticking to it lol
check out my asian championship group stage opponents ..... man its pain :(
i have only one popular player in my squad he is also at loan in RWANDA
I got a 1-7 beating in the champions league from a team with 28 stars.... :p
Well i do see some small chances versus the Tapei team.
With India, we won 2-0 from Bhutan. Think we are techinqually qualified if Australia wins from the other team
