Player wages are what you pay your players to play for your team. Better players receive higher wages and players also earn more as they get older. Young players will therefore be relatively cheap compared to older players.
Wages are fixed for a period of one season, though not necessarily starting and ending when the season ends. Whenever a contract of a player ends he will automatically receive a new, usually better, contract. If a player will be earning more money you will be informed about this. A player will never get a higher salary raise 50% per year, except when he is transfered.
Players with the special attribute "loyal" will require lower wages.
Maintenance costs include all costs related to the ownership and operation of your facilities. Wages of staff, rent of property, taxes, insurances, energy and supplies are all grouped under maintenance costs.
You do not need to bother about what this money is spent on, you just need to know they are there and how much money in total is needed for it.
Transfer expenses are paid to buy new players. When you have pending transfer bids, the total amount of reserved money is shown in brackets in this column. While the transfer is pending you cannot use this money to construct buildings for example.
These are costs for constructing or upgrading your facilities. You pay these costs at once when ordering construction works.
Other expenses happen very rarely. If you receive a fine for some form of cheating, the money would be booked in this category.
If you heal players in the health center (level 3 or higher) the money spend on this will also be booked in this category.
It also includes money you spend on creating players in the scout office.
If your total balance is below zero directly after receiving your sponsor money you will have to pay interest over the borrowed amount. This interest is 12% per year.
