Do any of you like classical music? Having been a piano player for a while, I've grown to love it.

@Peter I'm a fellow piano player myself :P

I taught myself to play, and some playing the piano really complements with watching live matches on rocking soccer :D

@El Capitán it's super cool that you taught yourself :D
I myself only know several pieces because I took a long break from it, I've only started playing again a month ago. I love Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart. :D

@Dragontao I was named after Bryan Adams.... It's upsetting.  However, Summer of 69 will always be a JAM.

Favourite Band - Stiff Little Fingers

Like @DragonTao the first album I bought was "A Tonic For the Troops" by the Boomtown Rats. I also had "All Mod Cons". We also had the single "Ernie" and used to listen to "Stick Your Finger in Your Ear and Go TingaLingaLoo" -

The first record ever bought for me was "Long Haired Lover from Liverpool", which came out a few months after "Ernie".

I guess we must be a similar age.

Possibly going to see SLF tomorrow night if I can get out of something else.

Though the 300 mile round trip to North Devon last Friday and 308 mile round trip to Colchester last night to see a band I know have made it less likely I can get out of what I'm doing tomorrow now.

Seen SLF a few times though, having been at school during punk's heyday (55 this year, my brain refuses to believe it but the joints are creaking a bit).

You have a few years on me then, I’m only 50...not often I use the word “only” in that sentence. I lived in Leeds for most of my youth, so managed to see them loads of times, mainly after they reformed. They finally started touring out here fortunately so I’ve seen them a handful of times in Sydney. They always sell out, which is pretty impressive for a Belfast punk band that I don’t think ever even made the charts here.

@Bartje_vM  I'm a big fan of Rancid.

This is a really cool video featuring a song and the story around it by a Canadian group called Hollerado.

If you like a bit of folk rock, I can recommend Sound of the Sirens. Very good live and extremely entertaining. Plus they are really nice people (I know them quite well).

Samantics (who I know through Sound of the Sirens). If you like a bit of rap with an element of comedy (though a lot of his stuff iis also very serious), he's excellent.

His "realistic" love song.

One of the reasons I love live music, discovering some good bands as support acts such as:
