when you have a roaming player and you train him as sprinter when will he sprint?
He's not that much on his indicated position.
Or will he be an extra trump in the team?

I don't think it matters whether the player is on his indicated position or not. Whenever the player moves to the square where the ball is he gets a 2 speed bonus... I think that chance is higher if a player is roaming (and knowing where he is going, else he will never get near the ball) and then get the 2 speed bonus.
