Why is it not possible to change players and change lineups in the middle of a game?
Because the developer decided this was not a game where you had to be online for the games themselves. That decision will not change for the foreseeable future
why the top teams in the coefficient rankings cant be managed by another player?

where incompetent manager would get some achievements he doesn't deserve and and maybe brag with that. You must be done it yourself(building up team from quite beginning).
but still locking teams that could probably have got a new player who funds the game is not a good idea
They will be available when they are not top50 ranked. Mostly it takes just couple of seasons.

Yep, if club is regular CL title challenger, it may take around 5 seasons to lose enough rating. But nobody deserves such present. On early years it was possible, but those were rare cases, when new manager was able to continue earlier success for more than 5 seasons. Mostly it ended like AC Subotica-Rossoneri story.
With very top and abandoned clubs currently is quite high risk to get into financial troubles as previous owner maybe left team because of bankrupt: having expensive facilities and high-waged players. Just like your previous club.
even here am in debt already.. worst than my previous..now its near 50mil
