@Bagacius assuming you have two 10* staff members, maybe. It depends on the talent of the player. Look around at the different teams with really old players and see what level FA they have.

I've only ever had an FA 2.

I don't think there's a cap on it. You can keep adding debt forever. Though in practice I think there would come a point where the costs you are incurring probably drop to a point where your income could slowly start eroding the debt

I would say if you have a very large debt there comes a point where the costs @12% interest exceeds your total income and the value of any saleable assets. At that point the debt is unrecoverable. There is no way back and the size of the debt continues to accelerate.
