Yes lock another thread, going for a record.
Why not have a rule where each new topic is only annswerd by one person and then closed, regardless if it is a good answer or not.
That way we will never have any 'arguments'.

Unless one or more of the following happen:
The discussion degenerates in personal attacks.
The discussion goes off the road and into 'off-topic' territory.
Excessive aggressive and/or sarcastic tones are used.
So ... shall we go back on topic? Also ... Holt made a good point. This doesn't belong in Suggestions. Let's move this.

I would but you can guess what would happen.
I don't know if I necessarily agree with the idea of immediately closing off a forum after a response. The whole idea of a forum is to allow communication between users and have a medium for them to express their opinions. By closing it off immediately, you are effectively cutting off that source of discussion.
So, I'd argue that threads only be closed immediately in situations that Andrei illustrated. Well-formed opinions and arguments are always beneficial to a discussion, but when they start to turn towards personal attacks and sarcastic comments, that's when measures should be taken.
The real question is how to correctly identify a sarcastic comment from a serious one on the Internet hehe :D

All these arguments in a pointless thread...
Nothing is going to be changed, as much as we ask/demand/beg for it.
This is the reality and as frustrating as it is, it's not going to change any time soon.
Vincent probably has other priorities, which make him more money then this.
Even though he has abandoned the game, most VIP users still prolong their VIP membership.
In all fairness, he's still receiving a lot of money with 0 more future effort.
The guy is a genius.
If you could make money that way, wouldn't you? ;-)
@Garfman The last I heard, Rockstar has made 2.5-3 billion from GTA V and still earns around 1 million a day.All that with virtually zero actual change.
If Rockstar is still earning 1 mil per day, than Vincent's real name is probably Jeff Bezos or Warren Buffett with Rocking Soccer income
And... the only effect trashing the developers in this forum will have is that they close down the servers earlier than planned.
This leaves us with 4 simple options.
1. Stop crying about it, accept it and enjoy the game as-is while it lasts
2. Continue to cry about it, don´t accept it and love-hate the game as-is while it lasts
3. Leave the game and find stimulation elsewhere
4. Kindly ask the developers to continue with a friendly tone, not lose the temper and not make demands on a free service. Continue to play with hopes of change and accept that nothing lasts forever. (It probably will not succeed but is the only real option).
Unfortunately all the "demands" and sarcasm lately has probably burned the outcome of number 4 (if it ever existed), leaving us with option 1, 2 or 3.
