Maybe we need a group of users where ones have some money to buy the game and others have programmer skills to fix bugs and maybe change something? And then that group will contact with Vincent or some other Delft bosses to discuss about business?
What are Vincent's intentions? He surely has no time for RS as his user was fired from his club. Maybe he just enjoy feeling of god: i created it all and i can destroy it all too one day. He had no plans around 5 years already but surely we at least had some moment users who were ready to offer their skills for improvement of game. Maybe most of them have left for now but some still should be. I think that real market value of game has fallen multiple times with last couple of years but maybe his main income is vip money he earn here?

This game needs some updates especially about money upgrading values are too much and buying-selling players hard too bc nobody has money. Just some of the users could doing this. Game must be fair i think.
i spoke to vincent a couple of years ago about selling the game so i could look for a buyer for him. (its part of my dalily job as an accountant) But he did not come back to me. In that conversation he made clear he has a fulltime job and cant spend any more time to rocking soccer. Since he is the coder of the game and the others involved are not ,nothing happens on upgrading front. i think if you make a decent offer he will sell the game by now because it only decreases in value every day. You can calculate how many vip users there are so you know what the income is. Expenses are low only maintaing the server(s?) . User group with coders would be the best for all the users to play this game for years to come.

In my opinion, we are in a bit of a pickle... We are clearly in a no returning point. Either way we found a buyer who cares for the game or we realize the game is competely abandoned and basically its a big con...
We are in a breaking spot, cause if we dont find anyone asking for a buyers we basically have just killed the game earlier that what we thought....
Form a plan then.
If a user buyout is seriously being considered, then we have to:
- Round up those who are familiar with PHP and lighttpd in RS.
- Either find a few long-time users who are willing to pay or use a crowdfunding platform where RS users can contribute and then decide on who calls the shots(in accordance with the wishers of the users).
Could offer 1,000 easy , of course its worth more. Just saying haha
The game is probably worth between 10 and 15k, there arent more than 150 lvl 3 (and im being quite generous). With all the luck u creators make 1.4 K that probably wont last 10 seasons more (mainly cause if the bugs arent fixed and the game compelety abandoned)
I think the first step is to find out if Vincent is looking to sell, and if so, for how much.
@Lumpen I believe maximum 10.000 euros. As you would need to invest A LOT more money to raise this game up again, and IF. You re not familiar with codes and stuff as well you will need to hire some specialist from time to time to fix bugs or make any new stuff.
@Bagacius That is the additional cost you will incur after buying the game and that cannot be speculated upon at this point

@holt what do you mean lol. So you say if you for example buying a grocery shop with building bla bla , and you know you will need to invest 10000 more you still going to overpay? I just saying that RS could be worth 10000, for good advertise you will need minimum 5000 budget to bring this game back, not talking about other things
