I know, the popular players are just a special section.

I must have used the wrong link. Here's the right one:

The two teams of the season are:

http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/team-1893 – FC Wageningen
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/team-852 – Maccabi Tel Aviv (hasn't changed)

I've removed Phillip Rambert from the list.

Just turned 21 Thibedaux is already better than Lagat, more than 2 years his senior albeit without sharpshooter.

Also I'd say Dankner could make the list of top forwards given his selfish attribute and athletic ability giving him a bit more than .4 scoring and he's outplaying other great forwards in the team: http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-869120

Thibedeaux and Lagat are just amazing. It would have been awesome if they were both on your team.

Yes, Dankner has a lot of speed and with only 2 trainings. But if I put him on, I'd have to put these guys on as well:

Difference is Dankner has selfish which adds substantially to any player, approximately .3 scoring just like team player does to passing. He outshines Dedekind (whom has 6.42ish with supersub) at least at the moment in 46 minutes of play. The extra speed on top doesn't increase his scoring by more than a little over 0.1 but does increase his ability a lot more in game than it looks. Dankner's average scoring with the increases is 6.4, 815007 is 6.3 and I think should be included, 815060 is 6.15 and is a little bit short of being included and 837604 is 6.01 and is inferior to the other 2 you mentioned. In reference the last 3 you have listed are Infusino at 6.179, Morgas at 6.3 with hot-tempered and Man-Ching at 6.3

I see. I think I'll add Dankner and Thanwareth to the list. But I thought each ball of speed corresponded to 0.1 ball of scoring, in which case it would add around .7 to Dankner's scoring. Am I wrong on that?

Yes but the average scoring of players under 22 and over 22 including the youth bonus is just one way to compare if you don't want to get into the statistics of player values etc since people most likely do not calculate player values precisely the same and the numbers would be meaningless without knowing how they arrived at them. Dankner is 5.1 (base) + 0.3 (selfish) + 0.71 (speed) + 0.29 (average youth) = 6.4

Wow, I haven't checked this thread for quite a while, but it has turned into quite a Maccabi-advertisement! :)
I see that a level8 supertalent without any special training, no boosted fixed, and a bit behind on xp (Stuwaert) is above the best defender in the game (Al-Thynniyan), and that even a regular youth10 (of which there are hundreds, maybe thousands in the game) needs no more then two nice skills to be considered a topprospect. Sounds like fun!

But seriously, what are the criteria for this list? It is quite hard to compare older and younger players, or high talented players or lower with skill, or whatever you like to compare. To be honest, for this list I see no other criteria then how well Nehemiah succeeds in convincing Peter to put his players there..
