sunday september 8 - 15:11 In yesterday's post by v one statement caught my attention.
v, you mentioned that this transferperiod you were 'unusually active'. And I think there is a very important place in this discussion for that remark. Because I don't think the tradingpart in this game is about fair or unfair, it's about how each of us views the game, and of course each of us advocates the rule that suits his own gameplan best. It's not about this remark in itself, and I don't want my next statement to judge v, it's just his remark that triggered this thought:
If you need a defender in this game, you go to your scout office, pick the best defender you can pay, place a bid, and log out again. At least that's a way to play the game. And if other people are forced to do the same by forbidding to bid for a second one, and if they do, they can't sell them, you are not at any disadvantage.
On the other hand, if other people spend time in looking for good players at any position for a cheap price, and resell them for a profit, and keep doing that while you are not logged in, you have quite a disadvantage.
The simple fact that if you visit this site for the first time, some game-aspects are mentioned, and we get an indication of what this game is about. The intention of this game is that 'determination' is most important feature to play this game well. In this respect, spending lots of time should benefit a player. So in this discussion about views and opinions, keep in mind that putting more effort in it, should lead to better results. It's not an opinion, it's considered important in the gamedesign.
Oh, and of course this neutral fact suits my own view best, but im sure that's purely coincidental. ;)
