Look at that league table. Only time I'm going to be top. Nobody better change their team name, let me bask in it while I can.

Shocking start for my Monks. Two defeats in a row and a very tough African league tie to come. I bought in a few signings this window but lost two star midfielders on loan. I've tried replacing them but failed in all midfield loan bids so far. It's looking like a long first half to the season for me. Good luck to all. Monk

Totally surprised by my opening day win, given the mauling I received from the Daoists last season. It can only go down hill from here.

Tried desperately to loan in a quality keeper, but have met with nothing but frustration, so it's back to borrowing up and coming youngsters from my first team.

Cool win Dragontao. Well done. Hopefully you'll go on to have a great season! Good job you didn't get that keeper or else it would have been 3-0!

Yep, come on lads. I need some proper competition here from you two. So far, it's 2 games, 2 wins. I can't see anyone stopping my 7 star striker from firing me to the title* this season!

May well be gone from this league by the middle of January when my VIP runs out. I'm not feeling particularity inclined to renew it at the moment.

Hi Dragontao. That would be a real shame. You could always give up your English team and stay with us!

On a sadder note none of my major midfield offers came to fruition so I face the first half of the season with a woefully inadequate midfield. My apologies for any effect it will have on Angloa's league coefficient. I'll recruit as best I can in the mid-season window and hopefully will make the African league again.
Best wishes to all,
Monk
