This morning's Cup final was a costly affair for the Beach. Not one but two GKs injured and a hefty bill for healing. Ended up with RB in goal for about 30 mins too....

You needn't have bothered healing though as you were playing me in the afternoon. I can't hit a barn for from ten feet this season. Next season will be sooo much better though.

Well my season has gone pretty much as expected - defence was decent, but attack a bit below par, so 3rd place in the league, lost in Ro32 in Europe and the cups depended on when I played Seaburn (semis in the cup, final in the U21s).

Strikers should be a little better next year, so a few more goals and maybe get a bit closer to LGA for second, hope for a decent run in Europe and see when I draw Seaburn in the cups!

It's been 5 seasons since the Pixels managed to scrape into Europe with an unexpected 6th place finish, and since then the Board have grown increasingly frustrated with a succession of mid-table finishes.

There has been a deafening silence coming from the club recently but rumours seem to suggest approval has been granted to the removal of the strict wage limit and the selling of a number of first-team players.

Season 70 could see a much leaner squad, with the emphasis on a few key highly-paid players to carry the load - it will be a pivotal season in the club's history, and one that will test the nerves of even the most ardent supporter.
