With apologies in advance to Sam Freggio.

What is the difference between Mersey Union and a pencil?

What is the difference between Mersey union and a football pitch?

John Wick never killed 3 men in a bar with a Mersey Union ... a f***ing Mersey Union.

You can draw with a pencil. A pitch has 2 goals.

Brilliant Numpty.

A pencil has one point, Mersey Union doesn't have any.

A pitch has two goals, MU only has one.

I think your answers were better than mine!

Thanks.

I thought about the pencil having a point at the end but preferred the draw option. Especially as my pencil has a rubber at one end.

But don't tell the Americans about the rubber ... :D

Sneaked a win against Canvey Island...

I just need Seaburn to drop a few more points please :)

Annoying loss in Europe - missing my GK for first leg and escaped with a 1-1, then couldn't score away and went out on away goals without losing a game

... and the title race is blown wide open again. Can Seaburn pounce.

I can't turn round 4 points. It'll be one point after tonight of course - something there for Heavens Light to pin up on the dressing room wall ahead of kick off - but the gap is just too big to bridge.

I know you're quaking in your boots about tomorrow's game Stephen. The Wonderbras have such an impressive record against Seaburn.

I mean those two wins and 20 draws out of 111 league games are frightening statistics.

The Wonderbras are a sturdy proposition these days and it's by no means guaranteed that visitors will come away with the points. My scout wasn't confident, though it turned out he wasn't focused on the right things anyway. The opposition had a lot more up top than he was expecting.
