Well done! That was a high scoring match. Liverpool has a strong youth team so you did well to overcome him

Thank you Stephen.

Although in all honesty it was probably more luck than judgement lol.

The Cup is in the bag too now. Just a few more games to see if Seaburn can manage the perfect 38-0-0 record...

Well - straight shoot out with Melchester for 2nd place in the final game. I'm at home, but they can afford to draw - should be interesting. I hate finishing 3rd - miss out on any qualifying games for the Champ league or Europa, so 3rd place probably means I'd have to sell another player.

Oh - and congrats Stephen on number 13. Not the biggest shock, but we really have to start giving you something to work for - thought Melchester would be closer this year, I'm happy enough with my season considering the change of goalkeeper (to one who is under 30 instead of 704 years old)

Congrats to Stephen on his title and cup win. He appears to be collecting majors now like the rest of us collect Panini stickers. I am hoping he is one of the three who have already applied to be the next England manager.

Well done to Yid too on his Youth Cup win. Don't underestimate the scale of this achievement. There are some very strong youth teams from Seaburn, Pridejay, Cardiff and others, so congratulations on making it onto the England Honours Board.

Either second or third for Melchester this season. I agree with BakerMan, I expected to do better and push Seaburn more, but a few weaknesses in my team cost me dear, so I'll go again next season. I don't mind whether I get Champs League qualifying or EL group stages (but I'll do my best to get the higher placing), both are good starting points but I was really pleased we appear to have scored highly for the league ranking this season, pushing us up to 7th. If we can all do as well again then our league can only get stronger. I hope other teams invest heavily in their squads and not just their facilities.

Good luck all in the transfer market.

Monk

And there it is: 38-0-0. 152 goals. Not quite as impressive as the season 52 effort where I notched 158 and conceded fewer than this time out, but the lads have done well.

The assists were spread around the field and while Addo was his usual deadly self, Shyamsundar has started to find the net more regularly too.  Lema and Choi have also begun to find their range.

Think there'll be some transfer activity at the Old Tram Shelter to freshen up the side and have another tilt at the CL. Lost in the QF to the eventual winners. Maybe a kinder draw could have me going a round or two further next time out?

And yes, I am standing for England manager after a long hiatus. In the words of Radiohead, "I trust I can rely oooooooon your vote."
