saturday july 3 - 13:32 Over the last few seasons my strategy has changed as often as the tides, from:
- Bringing in strong older players (short-term planning to basically just stay up), to
- Buying high-talented youth, with the intention of nurturing and training them into first team stars (long-term planning but with relegation risk), to
- Buying a mixture of strong players (maximum of 26/27 years old), along with 1 or 2 high-talented youth for future development
I was pleased with last season's final position, and hope that the revised transfer strategy results in something similar this season.
My money is on Seaburn.
