I was thinking of GK but I will probably make him striker. Thx guys.
Gk would be good of course, but the Super Sub would be a nuisance as you would normally want a keeper to play the full 90 minutes.
With a forward the Super Sub can be an advantage.

Bearing in mind his specials, I would choose a position that (1.) isn't a disaster if he gets injured during the match and (2.) keeps his rating low.
With those constraints I would suggest a defensive midfielder with lots of duelling.
Striker or midfielder for me with scoring or passing only. Ignore tactics and secondary skills

If a DM gets injured he will be subbed by a midfielder with no dueling , which will result in cards

When a player gets injured then it's a case of what is the least worst outcome?
I'd rather pick up a few yellow cards than lose my keeper or central defender and let some goals in or fail to score because I've lost my best striker or midfield provider.

Stephen will have to speak for himself, but I imagine he means below 1.5 at least on a striker, as no tactics will keep his rating low for 'Modest' purposes. Although I guess you could be flexible depending on the ratings of the other players.
I’d probably go win just one ball of tactics on a striker. To be honest, I’ve seen strikers with less than that and they still seem to score. Maybe 1.5 balls on a midfielder. It’s easy to keep star ratings down on this sort of player and not have him in the top 3.
This guy will never be one of your top players. As long as you have a decent replacement on the bench, you can probably live with him for a bit.
