thursday january 28 - 11:20 For future reference here are the probabilities for L10 supertalents.
A supertalent is generated like this:
1. create a normal player
2. add 0.75 ball talent
3. for each of the skills (speed, power, endurance and talent) keep throwing a dice and add 0.05 ball until a 6 is thrown.
If you have talent selected twice in the youth settings. The probabilities for normal youths would be:
- Talent 4.85 - 25% chance
- Talent 4.90 - 25% chance
- Talent 4.95 - 25% chance
- Talent 5.00 - 25% chance
Supertalents get a minimum bonus of 0.75, so the base talent for L10 supertalents would be:
- Talent 5.60 - 25% chance
- Talent 5.65 - 25% chance
- Talent 5.70 - 25% chance
- Talent 5.75 - 25% chance
(Assumes talent is selected twice. If not then the calculations will be different.)
Then the chance for every extra 0.05 is simulated as a dice throw. The probability of getting at least n extra 0.05 ball bonuses is (5/6)^n . The probability of getting exactly n extra is (5/6)^n * 1/6.
So for the first few, which are the most likely, the probabilities of the extra bonus are as follows:
- 0.00 - 16.67%
- 0.05 - 13.89%
- 0.10 - 11.57%
- 0.15 - 9.65%
- 0.20 - 8.04%
- 0.25 - 6.70%
- 0.30 - 5.58%
- 0.35 - 4.65%
- 0.40 - 3.88%
- 0.45 - 3.23%
- 0.50 - 2.69%
- More than 0.50 - 13.46%
Combining this extra bonus with the original chance of the base values we get the following:
- Talent 5.60 - 4.17% (worst case)
- Talent 5.65 - 7.64%
- Talent 5.70 - 10.53%
- Talent 5.75 - 12.95% (most likely)
- Talent 5.80 - 10.79%
- Talent 5.85 - 8.99%
- Talent 5.90 - 7.49%
- Talent 5.95 - 6.24%
- Talent 6.00 - 5.20%
- Talent greater than 6.00 - 26.01%
- Talent greater than 7.00 - 0.68% (about 2 in 300)
- Talent greater than 8.00 - 0.018% (about 1 in 5000)
Higher Level Youth Academies
I guess I could do something similar if necessary. However, you can get a good approximation by using the above figures and then adding 0.30 balls of talent for each youth academy level.
