Hey John, just an FYI on how the talent setting works. If you have one talent focus, it means your players will be in the top half of the range of talent. Two means it will be in the top quartile. For this player, I think it is still a YA3 player, because a YA4 player with two focuses on talent should have at least 6.1 balls of talent. It unfortunately takes some time for the new settings of the youth center to take effect, usually with the rollover of the next interval for your youth player to show up in (consider that the new intervals are usually longer, so player generation likely occurs at the start of the interval).
As a suggestion, since the difference between one talent and two talent focuses is only a minimum of 6 talent vs 6.1 talent (barely 900 experience in a level 12 football academy with two staffers over a season), I recommend considering power, speed, or even endurance instead.
