I sold some days ago my old keeper Bardsley (https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-964761 , Maltese NT keeper).First attempt at then market value € 62 353 000 brought no offers, second attempt with asking price around 57M was successful and I was happy that I got rid of him for almost MV.
Today morning I searched for market and found this player (https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-1005611 , not even in shortlist) with asking price and market value around 2.5 times higher than my keeper. And he had bid at asking price too.
So, what makes SO BIG (€90M) difference and is it justified? Comparison visible for VIP https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/compareplayers?id1=1005611&id2=964761
Bardsley is half of year older, with same talent, slightly better blocking and speed, -0.83 balls less endurance, -0.25 balls tactics.
At special attributes Bardsley has 2 typical ones for keeper: Penalty stopper and Setting walls. Falaniko has 4 which none is useful to keeper as he was midfielder previously.
I can't blame Falaniko's previous owner in anything as we did exact same thing: sold player for around market value and we both happily got buyers. But is Bardsley really so much worse player than Falaniko, that his market value should be almost 3 times lower, when he has most important skills little bit better and has right special attributes too? Maybe market value algorithm needs some change again?
