Remove talent impact on star value (17)

Something extra to add about the youth bonus - or in particular the calculation for the youth part of the star rating.
Every player has a star rating calculated for all four positions: Gk, Def, Mid and Fwd. The highest of the four star values is the one that you see on the player's profile and that is also the position he's given on his profile.
Normally you don't see the other 3 values but they can be viewed using the match Analyse feature and putting the player in the other 3 positions.
However, when it comes to the youth part of the star rating, the youth value on the profile is not necessarily for the same position as the main star rating. Although this will only be noticed with young very low rated players.
Specifically the youth part of the star rating is also the highest of the four different youth ratings, which may be a different position to the main rating.
An example will make this a lot clearer.
This is what one of my youth players has on his profile:
- Age 15year, 2weeks (1.56 bonus balls)
- Position Defender
- Value 0.65-1.55
This mean that his highest star rating is calculated as a defender. You'd also reasonably assume that 1.55 is his youth rating when played as a defender - but you'd be wrong.
This is the player rating that I get for the four different positions when using the match Analyse report:
- Keeper 0.50-1.05
- Defender 0.65-1.40
- Midfield 0.65-1.45
- Forward 0.65-1.55
The numbers are all rounded of course, and no doubt he's called a defender on his profile because that value is slightly higher than the others.
Another player has these values:
- Position Midfielder Value 0.70-1.50 (on his profile)
- Keeper 0.55-1.10
- Defence 0.65-1.30
- Midfield 0.70-1.45
- Forward 0.65-1.50
The star rating given on the player's profile is the highest of both the main rating and also the youth rating even though they may be for two different positions.
It also tells us that, although the youth bonus is the same, the youth rating is slightly higher for forwards than for the other outfield positions.
